The bed was so comfortable. Room was a great size. You could tell it was a bit of an older building (a few random noises), but we had no issues. Staff were always offering to help and were very friendly.

The location was excellent - right at the end of the main "strip" of Roma Norte, you can't beat the location for proximity to the neighborhood and noise level (I think it would have been loud in a more 'central' part of the main drag). Staff was very friendly, the late checkout (1pm!) is just unheard of and sooo welcome. The bed leaned toward the firmer side, with very comfy pillows. Good AC.

The shower was TINY. Luckily it was a curtain closure, and there was a drain in the middle of the bathroom floor (in addition to in the shower). I showered with the curtain mostly open so I had room to move around and actually shower properly. My friend's shower in a different room was larger though, so it may have been specific to my unit.

Prime location in Roma neighborhood and within walking distance of numerous restaurants, cafes, shopping, convenience stores, and nightlife. Easy drop-off and pick-up point for Uber if you are traveling to other neighborhoods. English speaking staff made it a breeze to get checked in and situated. Room was spacious, had good A/C, and complimentary water and coffee.

The cleanliness was slightly questionable but hopefully just an isolated experience. The replacement bedding after housekeeping's visit was covered in long hairs (I have a shaved head so definitely was not mine.) It would be nice if the room had a small fridge.

Staff not very friendly and helpful apart from the concierges at the door. They were very friendly. At the reception we only got the information that we can read everything we want to know in the book that we could find in the room. Pick up from the airport was very expensive compared to official taxi prices or Uber, but we didn't know that before arrival. It was also not an official taxi but it seemed more like an Uber or a friend of someone at the reception.

No additional locks - bolt and chain locks in the doors of room. Due to the absence of additional locks, we were woken up by the bellhop past midnight when he opened the door for a new guest while we were sleeping. Apparently, the night shift front desk made the mistake of assigning our room to a new hotel guest. The chirping sound to detect doors not fully closed was helpful but annoying. Sounds scary? Yes. We all make mistakes. The hotel was sincerely apologetic about the incident.

The front office staff and the management in general were helpful and courteous. I tested the patience and good will of the staff by forgetting my car key in the room and going back to the USA without it. I left a message for the management on booking.com. There was a prompt response asking me to correspond with Stanza Hotel on their WhatsApp number (which they provided). Long story short, someone from the hotel retrieved my car key and mailed to to my home using Fed Ex Priority mail. Everything was done promptly, and I was able to pay for shipping using an online link that was conveniently provided for me. This is Exceptional Customer Service indeed. Muchas gracias de verdad!

The room was very comfortable and clean with a view of the park across the street. Furniture is a bit dated. The complimentary coffee maker, coffee and water was nice. Hotel location is excellent if you like to be close to a trendy area with great restaurants and bars. Also, easy access to public transportation and relatively walking distance to some attractions if you don't mind walking 20-30 minutes.

All was as expected. Room could be improved by adding a small refrigerator. Complimentary tea bags could also be a plus.

We recently stayed at this hotel and found it to be a pleasant experience. The location is fantastic, with Centro and the lively surroundings of Roma Norte easily accessible on foot. My 2nd stay in Stanza. First of all people working extremely nice and helpful. Organized for us 2 very enriching tours. Location is ideal, safe neighborhood (can also walk during night) with lot of going-out options. Breakfast very tasty and room spacious with comfortable bed.

Everything was great, if I come back to CDMX 3rd time, will stay in Stanza.

We loved the location! Walked everywhere in Roma and it was so convenient. It was so close to many amazing restaurants, several great parks and so many cute coffee shops. The room was comfortable and clean. The staff were welcoming, kind and helpful. Would highly recommend as a home base. We also used the metro frequently so the close location was very helpful!
