JR Kyushu Hotel Blossom Fukuoka

The hotel was located very close to Hakata station, making travel between cities, within Fukuoka, and to and from the airport very convenient. The hotel dealt with my requests very promptly and better than expected. I requested for rooms to be in close proximity and they gave us 4 adjacent rooms, better than any other hotel has done for us. The room sizes are decent, and cots were provided as requested. We enjoyed our stay there. The service staff was excellent, helping us quickly with all our requests.

The room was very bright even at night due to lights from various places (e.g. aircon, master light switch, humidifier).

Location and there’s Lawson downstairs.

1. The bathtub and toilet were coated with dust. I didnt realise it until I was preparing the bath by cleaning the bathtub with the showerhead. Then I saw water with dark grey dust washing off. Quite disgusting. After that I realised the toilet bowl was also coated with dust. I took a picture to show recep for them to remind housecleaning. Not sure where the dust came from. Cant b long time didnt clean right? 2. One of the newer staff, forgot her name. She is completely unempathetic n acting like robot. Not sure whether cos she is new, she doesnt understand English or completely doesn’t care. Was glad we didn’t see her during the last few days of our stay.

The staff at the hotel went above and beyond to provide assistance to my wife who was recently discharged from a hospital in Japan. They helped book us a large twin room with a chair in the shower area for easier showering and also helped us book a taxi to the airport along with pre-booking wheelchair assistance for us. This whole experience was way beyond what we had expected and we are grateful to all the hotel staff who helped us in our journey!

We accidentally went to the wrong hotel at the beginning as there are two JR Kyushu Blossom in the same vicinity.

This is my first time in a JR hotel. I'm impressed with the location and services on the Hotel. Its location is very good. Though it is not right above or next to the Hakata station, it only takes less than 5 mins walks to there. Proximity to the airport (inexpensive even by cab), local subway and JR makes this Hotel a very good anchor for your North Kyushu trip. There is ample shopping around the hotel. Their reception staff were very helpful. Basic amenities available. I found the Hotel value for money.

The location of the hotel was great with the JR, subway and bus station less than 5 mins walk away. The bed was extremely comfy and the room was very clean. A coin washer and dryer is also available for the guest to use and best of all, there’s a microwave to heat up the snacks we bought from the convenient store! Staff was extremely polite.

The size of the room is a bit small, so there’s not much space to place huge luggages. Good thing was that we only had 2 medium luggage so it was still ok.

very clean property with professional staff. the location is fantastic - right on top of an exit to the airport line/Hakata station.

the laundry room is located adjacent to the smoking room/on the smoking floor. after we did a load of clothes all of them smelled like smoke. The rooms also had their AC turned off by default and we had to call the staff for the AC to be manually turned on (which was fine - just an odd decision when it can get so hot)

The location is good, near convenience store, subway and Hakata station. The room is clean and quiet. I stay during the weekday of October and this place is not crowded.

Nothing for the hotel. Just a bit about the hotel name. There is 2 hotel with similar name. There is no Japanese hotel name or direction in the confirmation. My taxi take me to another hotel even I try to tell him that it's Chikushiguchi rd. May be I'm pronounce it wrongly.😆

Good location about 5-10 mins walk from the station depending on your speed. Decent sized room and comfortable beds. Wifi worked well. Breakfast was nice with 3 options, althoug not as good as breakfasts offered at other hotels in Japan.

They were doing maintainence on the hotel while we were there so it was a bit noisy (this work went on till 11pm one night). They did offer ear buds, although the white noise from the aircon masked most of it.

It’s located within a three minutes walking distance from Hakata Station, East side.

Excellent location, very close to the train exit and bus stop. There is a Lawson (convenience store) next to the hotel entrance. It is very convenient to buy food/drinks. There are a lot of restaurants nearby.

The room is a bit smaller than expected. The bathroom is big compared to other Japanese hotels, but it looks a bit old. The fridge is also a bit small, which cannot store all the food I bought from Lawson.
