Very clean Friendly staff Modern interior Great location Fast internet Quiet and comfortable Enjoed my stay !!

The food was nice, the room was clean, beds were comfortable. Staff making beds each morning leaving fresh towels emptying bins etc. Excellent. Some staff seemed friendlier than others.

There is no hot water in the evening for a shower. The water seemed to drop its temperature completely. The corridor had an unpleasant smell. Not much foot room in the room, when my husband sat at the table under the TV, we couldn't pass him unless we climbed over the bed or he moved. Some staff around the reception area were very nice, and some couldn't even crack a welcoming smile. The staff in the restaurant were very nice, some a little too eager to remove plates, I hadn't finished my breakfast and the plate was lifted from under me, I'd had just put my fire down. I got embarrassed that I said nothing until he took some other items I hadn't even touched.

Great hotel, modern, decorated with beautiful colours, bright, cosy, with very clean rooms. Kettle for making coffee and tea within the room, good variety of meals in the restaurant's menu. The bar also serves a wide range of coffee, tea, chocolate and deserts. All the staff is so welcome and friendly and especially the reception ladies. They assisted me with everything extraordinarily. Many thanks to Nikola, at reception, that she was amazingly kind and helpful, during my stay.

Unfortunately, although the hotel is located in a suburban area it is also surrounded by many car deallerships. Moreover, it could be very convenient if the rooms had a mini fridge.

We had a lovely overnight stay at the Waterford Viking Hotel. The staff were welcoming and friendly. The rooms were clean, comfortable and modern. The beds were really comfortable. We all slept really well. Facilities were great too. There's a restaurant/bar onsite where we dined. The food was great and staff all lovely. Location is on the outskirts of Waterford City but this worked great for us as it was easy for us to visit family near Piltown without taking toll roads. Overall, great stay and I would recommend to others and stay there again.

We had a great stay but had to leave by 8am to catch our flight at Dublin airport. Breakfast starts at 8am so we didn't get to enjoy breakfast there which is a shame as I'm sure it would have been lovely. Perhaps an earlier breakfast start would help those travelling onwards and those early risers!

The room was very spacious and clean. The bar area was very pleasant. Reception staff and staff at breakfast were very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was good with a good variety. Ample parking was available.

The location of the hotel was a bit disappointing being next door to a car dealership and in the heart of a number of car dealerships, although the hotel does not have control over the development around it. The hotel is conveniently close to the town centre where all the restaurants and pubs are which was good for going into town in the evening. There could have been more coffee provided in the room for those that like a few cups of coffee.

Convenient location on the edge of Waterford city.

On the night we stayed an undesirable element were drinking in the bar/ restaurant. They became very loud and annoying to hotel guests We left the bar/restaurant area due to the behaviour of these people. Staff continued to serve them drink despite the fact that they were very drunk. We overheard a junior member of bar staff ask his manager should he keep serving them, and he was told " Go back in their and do your job". If the hotel continues to allow this behaviour in bar/restaurant it will loose business. Its also worth nothing that these people weren't paying guests staying in the hotel.

The food and facilities where excellent. The bedrooms where spotless and the entire hotel was spotless. The staff where very friendly. Location of hotel is perfect as it is near major routes and close to the city.

The first morning for breakfast one of the staff members was chewing gum which in my eyes in front of guests is a thing that you should not see while enjoying your food.

Very friendly receptionist offered to order us taxis and suggested to visit the live music in the town centre which was great and even provided us with maps circling locations

The restaurant was quite busy on Saturday and so we struggled to get attention by one of the staff to get salt which wasn’t on the table and also the braised beef was not great however the rest of the food was lovely! Staff friendly too but just very busy. Possibly an extra staff or two on a Saturday in the restaurant would be helpful.

Check in was easy. Onsite parking. Dinner in the evening was very nice and nice bar area.

While the location suited close to where I work there is no pub's/restaurants within walking distance.

Great location only 13 minutes to the beach. And I think it was around 10 to the city center. We really enjoyed our weekend away here very nice little trip for bank Holiday may. 2024. Hotel was lovely and clean the restaurant we had breakfast in the morning and really enjoyed the full range of food and drinks on offer. Our room was spot on for us great size bed and bathroom area.

The only reason I marked down was we couldn't get netflix on the television as the television hadn't been connected to the WiFi and for some reason we was given on towel for two people and had to call down to sort that small issue.
