Daryl is a super kind and caring host. The room was wonderful. Had a beautiful garden view with beautiful sounds of birds in the morning. Loved the outdoor setup ehere I could enjoy my morning coffee, the garden aroma of gorgeous flowers, and birds. Location is superb, just minutes from main town centre and Quays.

Even though there were lots of bottled water, there was no sink in the kitchen. Had to wash my drinking bottle in the bathroom sink. Kitchen sink would be ideal.

Excellent location, located within a mile outside Waterford City. Within walking distance and on a bus route. Clean room. WiFi and tv available. En suite bathroom. Nice breakfast- self service. Choice of fruits, cereals, bread available. Tea/coffee making facilities available in room. Friendly staff. Darryl facilitated a late check out for me which I greatly appreciated.

No hot breakfast but I wasn’t bothered by that.

Very pleasant stay in vee accommodation. Comfortable bed. Would have liked another blanket I'm one of those people who are cold in night time. Tea making facilities in room. Room was spotless as was bathroom and kitchen. Continental breakfast. Good variety of cereals. Yoghurt and juice andCheese in fridge. Bread for toast. Tables all laid out with lovely delph.

Where the hotel was situated was close and an easy walk into town to see the sights. The hotel was close to great eateries as well. The hotel was right on a bus stop, if you needed public transport. The facilities were good.

You couldn’t swing a cat in the rooms, but I guess that is the price you pay for being so close to everything.

Comfy bed, cozy room, good shower, nice & clean, plenty of lovely breakfast options, unexpectedly (as I didn’t realise it was a shared house type of accomodation) met a lovely American couple

I didn’t realise it was a shared house when I booked this accomodation, but it still worked out ok, needs a little fridge in your own bedroom for personal medications etc though

I was attending a Pétanque Match at The People's Park. 10 minute walk to the Park. Shops, Pubs and Restaurants within easy reach. Perfect location away from the hustle and bustle yet within walking distance of everything. Ideally suited to singles or couples. Bonus: Nobody clattering the skirting boards with a vacuum cleaner at 8.30/9am. Undisturbed sleep throughout the night.

There was nothing to dislike about this place except the fact that I had to go home.

Saying that I've stayed there a second time sums it up... It has now become my go to spot in Waterford... The host is a gent and the room is perfect... Can't flaw it... The big one for me is the TV having a working USB slot... The breakfast is standard, but does the job... Can't complain... 😊👍

The host was friendly and welcoming; the location is about 15 minutes on foot from the centre of Waterford city along a road with bus routes; the room was clean and quite spacious with kettle, tea and coffee etc, TV and good wifi; I had an en-suite bathroom, which was a very nice surprise as I wasn't expecting this...

I didn't receive a front door key at check in (host said he would be there all the time, but first time I came back I wasn't heard and another guest who had a key arrived a few mins later and I gained access, I then decided to use an open side door to gain access as this was closer to my room...); breakfast is 8-10 am, but I suggest making it available from at least 7 (even earlier) as many guests like to get up early for travel purposes - I suggest just leaving milk out (chiller) and a couple of toasters and kettles (or hot water dispensers) so guests can simply help themselves and the host doesn't have to be available so early (I did manage a bowl of cereal the first morning, but only a banana the next as there was no milk); the bed was extremely creaky...

This is a very clean and well presented guest house - nicely decorated with all amenities, including a kitchen area with breakfast options. There is public transport within walking distance including a bus stop outside the house.

The only downside is that access to the property is not straightforward. Be aware that you need a working mobile (cell phone) to contact the owner who will then come and let you in. There is no-one on site.
