Holiday Inn - Marseille Airport, an IHG Hotel

The check in service was quick and the hotel honoured my 11am check in time which was really good of them. The one bedroom suite was big enough to accommodate 2 adults and 1 child very comfortably and the fridge with complimentary water was a bonus. The hotel offered a complimentary airport shuttle, which we used - 5mins from getting into the shuttle to arriving at the airport.

They advertised a swimming pool, however, this area was not open. The shower door opened in the wrong direction also, making you squash up against a wall to get out of the shower. The hotel really is just an airport hotel with nothing but 2 little shops and 1 restaurant within walking distance.

I chose this hotel because of location and a free shuttle bus to the airport. But when I asked the shuttle bus to the airport. a woman at the reception told us "It is already fully booked. So, you have to take a taxi. There is no other option." So we were embarrassed. Next morning, we asked the hotel reception again whether we can use the hotel shuttle bus or not. He (other person) at the hotel reception told us there is a sit for me. I can not totally understand why the woman told us there is no available seat for me yesterday. I was really disappointed about the services of Holiday Inn Hotel. And I decided that I will never stay at 'Holyday inn hotel' again. Someone who has a plan to the hotel and use shuttle bus, please check double.

Airport proximity, shuttle was really helpful. The surroundings anxiety is overblown by staff proactivity and attention to your needs and confort. Very good sound proofing so really good sleep before the trip.

I guess it was something weird that the elevator was not getting back from upper levels to ground level - we carried on foot from 1st floor all the times

The staff at the front desk were so kind and helpful even though it was quite late in the night during a bank holiday. They honored my IHG gold status and offered me a free drink. I also liked the free shuttle to the airport the next morning.

Booked free shuttle for 9:20 but it did not arrive until 9:30

The pool was nice. The front desk staff were very helpful. The room was compact but facilities were sufficient.

It was a wee bit far from the airport, but I chose to walk there rather than take the shuttle so maybe that's why it seemed far!

Clean and comfortable

Very plain and functional restaurant with only one staff member on Sat evening to look after the bar + the restaurant with 30 customers . I think he was cooking and washing up as well ! Totally unacceptable.

Located literally 5 minutes from Marsilia Airport, with transfer service starting at 5am. Nice and modern hotel. Breakfast 6/10. Friendly staff.

Only meat and pastries breakfast options. A little smoked salmon would have been nice.

Really close to Vitrolles train station which means only 10 minutes walk. And the hotel room is clean with comfortable bed and shower. Besides, the receptionist is really nice and helpful making people feel at home, also, very convenient shuttle bus to the airport!

The staff was super nice and helpful with airport transportation & providing infos. Nice that there is a gym facility.

Cleanliness could have been at a higher standard. Breakfast was average. Not much vegan options.

Everyone working in the hotel was super friendly and always helpful. The hotel was spotlessly clean and pool area was a fantastic surprise.

The breakfast selections were very average considering the cost for 2 people.
