Hilton Garden Inn Marseille Provence Airport

It is a very pleasant hotel. It is very very quiet with carpets on the corridors and parquet (or imitation probably) in the rooms which is precisely as it should be. The staff are surprisingly nice and friendly. Of course, this is a place to stay when you travel the next day, this is not a good base for a city trip to Marseille which is relatively far and around the hotel there is nothing - other than the airport. The food is also good and so is the breakfast which starts very early so they think of you as a traveller.

I found the restaurant a bit drafty.

Lovely refurbished room, comfortable bed with good quality linen and toiletries. Staff very welcoming, couldn't do enough for you. Public areas inside and out are well maintained, attractive and comfortable. The hotel grounds are gated and felt very secure. The excellent customer service, refurbishment and re-design of the hotel are what you expect of the Hilton brand. For those departing for an early flight free coffee, teas etc are provided at reception which is a great touch.

Nothing, it was all great.

Bed is very spacious and comfortable. Coffee machine avaliable in the room. Mini Bar has few options for refreahing ur self. Breakfast was amazing,there r many options to choose from. Dinner at restaurant was great as well,staff very nice and friendly. Food tasty n portions were more than expected. Mor ing/Afternoon receptionist was amazing n helpfull.

Shower head (any type of water option) is just not strong enough,water is coming out very weak and its taking a loooong time to shower with it. Room was more dusty than I expected for the price I payed for 1 night stay. Outlets for chargers too far from bed. Mini bar could have a beer or snack option as well,not only 2 soft drinka n water. Evening receptionist that was there on my check in didnt seem to be "happy" or welcoming,instead I had feeling she just wanted to get rid of us. She didnt give us any breakfast time information or anything upon arrival. Morning/afternoon receptionist was amazing tho.

The room was relatively plush, however, there was no dressing gown or slippers as advertised on the website, not that I needed them it’s more an observation. The breakfast was very good and delivered to the room. The early morning call didn’t happen, fortunately, I use my phone as a matter of course. I took dinner in the hotel and would say the quality is acceptable, I’ve stayed here a number of times previously and it’s consistent. The courtesy bus to the airport was both quick and efficient.

tHe rooms are starting to look a little dated but that doesn’t detract from the overall cleanliness of the facility or the friendliness of the staff. There was noise from other guests, sounded like an argument, the shouting woke me at 1.45 and basically destroyed the remaining night’s sleep. It’s a first during the occasions I’ve stayed at this hotel so I put it down to just one of those things.

The hotel is currently under construction to become a Hilton in March or April. Even under poor circumstances everyone was great and the manager, Ms Nicholson, really showed what a manager is all about. When temporary dining room facilities got really crowded she came in and worked hand in had with the staff, serving food, seating guests, handling complaints and making it all work. Can’t wait to stay there next year when all is complete. Hve stayed in this hotel for 15 years so we have really loved it.

The only issue was the phone service from the airport to the hotel was’t working. It was not the hotel, but the lines at the airport.

Room was clean and large, comfy bed, nice view. Large swimming pool. Beautiful restaurant and terrace. Shuttle to and from the airport is very convenient.

Hotel's restaurant price/value a bit unbalanced. Service timing was odd (same person bring olives & chips to our table then remove them less than a minute after before we had a chance to touch it) Broken glass on the floor on the swimming pool area.

The hotel is nicely remodeled. Very good shuttle service to the airport.

The room was stuffy and the HVAC was off (apparently turned off this time of year for the entire building). The management offered a portable fan, which helped, but was a nuisance. Even though the airport terminal is very close, it is not very walkable to get there.

Everything was beautiful. The room was quiet. The location was perfect for our need to be at the airport very early. The shuttle service was extremely convenient.

The wet room-style shower was not what we were expecting. I didn't like having the entire bathroom floor wet. The shower felt amazing, I just would have preferred it to be separate from the rest of the bathroom.

This is a completely remodeled hotel. The room was clean, comfortable and nicely appointed, including a fridge with free water, tea and coffe options.. The staff was very friendly and dining options were excellent. The hotel offered free transportation to the airport at all hours of day and night which removed much of the stress of our 4 AM airport checking.

The front desk staff were professional, enthusiastic and helpful. The location to the airport and the 24 hour desk and shuttle were terrific. The breakfast was really nice with a good range of choices.

The building is being renovated so some construction was taking place and some facilities were unavailable. I am glad the breakfast was included because though I enjoyed it, I did not feel it would have been worth the posted 26 euros price.
