Hotel Des Beaux Arts

Fantastic location on the river front and just a short walk from most points of interest. Lots of lively bars & restaurants in the area, Esquirol metro about 5 minutes away and only 10 mins on foot from the Capitol. Canal du Midi and the gardens are maybe 20mins walk. This is a great base for exploring the city.

Our 3rd floor room was very small - we stayed as part of a longer trip so we had quite a lot of luggage. Once the suitcases were in, there wasn't much room for us. 360-degree mirrors in the bathroom may be great for the young & sexy crowd but for those of us well past our prime it's not really what we want to see in the shower!

Location is fantastic...our room had a view on to the river and was very comfortable with good Air conditioning.... Staff were pleasant and breakfast was good

Returning to the Hotel at night there were some drunk or drugged people lying on the front step of the hotel.... it wasn't a real problem for me but my wife was nervous and this would be unpleasant for a single woman....nobody from the hotel did anything to remove them.

Room comfortable but small. Nice view over the river. Nice location near a lovely park on the river with nice outdoor cafe. Shopping and restaurants more in the city centre. Breakfast very good.

We only stayed two nights and this is good for a short stay. If you want to be by the shops then select an hotel more in the city centre where there are some lovely shops.

I had an upgrade on my room, which was lovely. The room overlooked the river and pont Neuf. The breakfast was good value and the timings were good. I unfortunately got stung by a wasp on my way back to collect my cases right before I left and the guy at reception was really helpful. Reception staff all lovely.

Great view from the room, which was comfortable and cozy. The towels were exactly how you want them to be!

There are stairs leading to the basement where breakfast is served. Travelling with elderly members of my family, that wasn’t great. I emailed the property asking about stairs situation and I wasn’t informed of this.

Very welcoming, warm staff. Easy going & accommodating. The hotel itself is imaginatively done & each room is another original. Our room looked out over Le Pont des arts & the Garonne.

A few bits might be showing their age. Breakfast could have been much more imaginative & I inspiring.

Good breakfast with some cold cuts and no warm amenities. Unfortunately not all the products available at breakfast each morning. Comfy room with river views.

Little bit oldish and worn interior on the hotel. Bit smelly at corridors and in room also due to wear and tear. Would need some upgrade for coming years. Bed not the comfiest one.

convenient location to visit the city center, rich breakfast, excellent service, espresso machine in the room was a great feature.

the room size was rather small, the separation with the restroom is minimalistic. The staircase is rather narrow and steep. Not convenient for travelers with a car staying a few days in town.

A superb location, with gorgeous views. The hotel was beautifully curated and decorated, and the staff were really helpful. We were even given a room upgrade when they found out that it was my boyfriend’s birthday which we really appreciated.

An excellent room looking over the river. Interesting decor. Excellent Brasserie below.

Access for parking and unloading is very poor. We were warned. Staff were helpful in this respect. There are lots of steps from entrance to lift and on landings. We managed but were not warned.
