The location was great for a stop off on our way to Spain. The hotel, although basic was spotlessly clean. Our room had a double and single bed, plenty of power sockets and a bathroom with an over bath shower. More than adequate for what we needed. The bed linen was clean and we had plenty of towels. We ate in the hotel for dinner and breakfast both of which were basic but tasty and good value for money. What made our stay was the staff. Paul the hotel manager was extremely friendly and helpful. His English was impeccable which was a great help considering we don’t speak French. It was also a bonus that we were able to take our two golden retrievers for only €5 extra. We would definitely stay there again if we are in that area.

The pillows were too small and not very comfortable. The quilt covers could do with replacing. Paul the manager informed us that this was on the list of updates to be done.

The hotel had a restaurant bar and plenty of parking. First I.pressiond where very good reception where helpful and pleasant there is a five euro charge for dog which is fine. The room was comfortable and well laid out the bathroom was OK but stains In the toilet rusty fixtures and a shower head that slid in pipe and couldn't be tightened where minor gripes. In all a pleasant comfortable place and for the price it was fine. Would I book again yes

Just 2* but they deserve more. Very clean, a bit outdated but still comfy, absolutely for the great price. A bistro kind restaurant serves delicious food, again, for a more than reasonable price. I've been in a kinda bad situation with my van around Poitiers, so happy I found this place and stayed here. The staff are very friendly, helpful and some of them speak English. If you're looking for a good place to stay around Poitiers And your budget is limited, more than recommended.

The location was good. The gentleman that greeted us was very attentive and had excellent customer service skills. The room was very clean.

No air conditioning although this hadn't been listed as an option. Only 1 tower fan in the room and it didn't perform exceptionally well. Not many plug sockets in areas to be able to locate said fan. No mosquito netting on windows for having the window open. We had to check out early therefore were missing breakfast, there were no tea/coffee making facilities in the room which would have been nice.

The room was clean and the bed comfortable, the staff were warm, welcoming and friendly towards us and our dog. The breakfasts were very good with a good choice of foods on offer. We stayed two nights as a stopping off point en route to Lisbon, we took dinner on the second night and although the menu was limited it was very well presented and good plain french cooking, the bœuf bourguinon was excellent. The location was quiet and there is a grassed area to the rear where we exercised our dog safely. The value for money at this hotel was excellent I would recommend it to my friends.

The food was exceptional. All home made with local produce, where possible. From the bread, to the jam, to the starters, to the main course to the dessert...it was all exceptional. You must have the dinner, sold as 4 course but more like 8!

Nothing. Could not fault anything. The host was funny, interesting and loved to tell us about the beautiful house.

The reception was welcoming and the receptionist very informative. The location is ideally situated for those travelling through France towards Spain. The room was clean with a very comfortable bed. The bathroom was fully stocked with the necessary towels and shower gel. The receptionist pointed us to a local food court, which was a short walk from the hotel. The food was excellent and the atmosphere vibrant. Should our travels bring us to Poitiers again, we will definitely stop here.

We were a family with 2 kids and were given 2 adjacent rooms with doors in between that could be opened. We really enjoyed this concept as a family. Both rooms had a bathroom, so we could easily get ready in the morning. The hotel is on an industrial estate. It's quiet at night. We were pleasantly surprised and would very much recommend this hotel to families travelling north or south.

The rooms are small. The single beds were too short for my 6" tall son.

clean quiet value for money young lady on reception very helpful the gentleman on reception at breakfast was friendly smiley and very helpful explaining all options wonderful man.

pillows was told the restaurant was fully booked but when we arrived at 8pm it was shut and we were told to visit a place up the road that had a bouncer on the door and was loud so we didn’t get an evening meal I think they didn’t want to stay open for us at 8pm which was a pity as everything else was spot on

We picked this place as a comfortable overnight stop with its own restaurant to break up two long driving days UK-Spain. It filled the bill very well indeed. The hotel has found a successful niche catering for travelling "professionals" (i.e. several rungs above the "white vans" at the budget chain hotels). Very good quality set menu, with sensibly priced drinks (two Belgian beers on tap, and decent house wine). Restaurant a touch "dining room" in style, but all fine.

No outdoor space for relaxing, drinking or eating (although a garden and deck clearly exist) which was disappointing.
