Days Inn by Wyndham Calgary South

Breakfast was good. Room was in a line with standards of 3 star hotel - just good. Bed was good too.

There was one thing to dislike, which is simply unavoidable - location. Right behind building run Calgary Transit City Train. Just two rail lines, but man - non stop! Actually from 5:00 AM till 11:00 PM there are trains every 10 minutes. In rush hours in the morning and afternoon, when people go and get back from work trains are every 1 and a half to 3 minutes! Kudos to Calgary Transit Authority for providing such a level of transit to Calgarians! But noise is annoying and no where to hide from it. So, if quietness is a must for you - look some place else. Otherwise staff, facilities and food were good and no complains about them.

Everything was really nice & clean. The beds were so comfortable. The pool is very big for a hotel & the hot tub is a bonus too! Staff is incredibly friendly & helpful. We had gotten refused from the Super 8 for our Visa Debit, After they confirmed everything as well & we were left with no where to stay after our grandfathers funeral & the staff at the Days Inn got us into a room within an hour of being turned away from the Super 8. Absolutely amazing service!

Pool area is a bit slippery, My husband fell on the stairs inside the pool area & hurt himself pretty bad. Definitely recommend avoiding those stairs & using the ramp instead! Other than that, Everything was great.

Was good value for the money. I only had a quick stay - checking in late and leaving early to the airport so I didn't get to experience all the amenities. The staff was prompt and professional. My room was clean and decent size. Bed was comfy and that's all I needed. Decent location just outside of downtown core and fairly easy to get to major roads to take you elsewhere in the city.

Not a dislike, but something to note - first floor rooms were up a flight of stairs and no elevator. I only had a small carry on so it wasn't an issue, but wouldn't want to do that with big luggage. Definitely make a note on your reservation if you don't want to be surprised not having elevator access if you need it.

Breakfast was great, specially the fruits and hot foods, swimming pool is a good size and clean my son really enjoy it, staff are amazing, very accommodating, friendly and helpful, location is nearby Chinook Mall and other amenities is close by, not far from Calgary Zoo, Telus Spark and Calgary Tower.

The air-con in the room is awkwardly just beside the bed and the wind is blowing in my face and can’t be adjusted, no microwave in the room we have to go downstairs to warm up our food, elevator needs an upgrade.

The room was reasonably priced for the area of Calgary that it was in. There are a lot of options in the vicinity for dining and easy access to major routes. I was only in town for one night but would recommend this hotel. The rooms are comfortable and clean and there was no issues with check in or out. There was ample parking and I never worried about security.

I don't have anything negative to say about this experience.

The location was very good. I could get to all the places I planned to visit quite easily. The room was comfortable with a chair and footstool.

I'd like to have had bedside lamps rather than an overhead light. The breakfast area was a bit crowded and the routine for dealing with garbage was not clear. The garbage can was overflowing.

The staff was so helpful and oh so friendly definitely made our stay

The continental breakfast was no good at all there definitely needs to be more variety of hot foods as there was nothing for vegetarian or vegans or for people that don't eat pork and what was there for breakfast for hot food was not fully cooked and very soggy.

Excellent location, good value for money. Rooms are comfortable and clean. Do not expect a first class experience though. Overall, we are very satisfied with our stay given it's price range.

Breakfast might be a bit crowded and messy - not enough staff around in the breakfast hall to supervise and attend to guests.

The staff in the front desk were excellent. So friendly and helpful.

The location wasn’t terrible but not what I was expecting. The train was very close so we could get anywhere we needed. Bonus.. I couldn’t hear it from my room. A lovely night. Actually couldn’t hear much noise at all compared to other hotels

It was a very busy weekend but the staff were great and got us into our rooms with ease. The bed was nice and breakfast was good (it had eggs and sausage available with the usual continental breakfast foods which was nice)

One elevator for a full house was no fun and the parking lot fills up fast. Otherwise everything else was good.
