Elite Hotel Arcadia

The breakfast was absolutely first-rate, both in range and quality. My room was perfectly fine. For me, nearby access to the subway system meant that I could take the short walk to jump on the train to roam around the city using a three-day pass. There are enough coffee shops, restaurants, and bars within walking distance (it was July) to keep one entertained. Oscar's Guitars is a world-class shop just a couple of blocks away. I chose this location because it is a couple of subway stops (or a brisk walk, as I did) to the ferry terminal servicing Turku. I liked where I wound up!

Staff were extremely helpful and friendly. There was a very good and tasty range of food at breakfast. Excellent sauna that the staff were happy to switch on when I wanted to use it, if it was not already on. Quiet area (my room was on back of the hotel, where there was minimal traffic). Very close to public transport (metro about 5 minutes away). About 25 minutes walk from Torsgatan stop for the airport bus, but possible also to get metro into town and catch bus at Central Station. Close to KTH, which I was visiting. Frequent and fast metro into city centre.

The main entrance to the hotel isn't very well sign-posted: there's a small plaque (about 300mm*300mm) with the hotel name. I walked all around the hotel before realising that this was indeed the entrance.

All good - but the high-point of this place is customer service. ALL THE STAFF were superb - courteous, helpful, and happy to go beyond the usual expectations of hospitality. Even when I needed emergency coffee, and an airline boarding-pass printing at 0200 hours, they were happy to assist. Their all-you-can-eat breakfast is also excellent - very fine food, and plenty of it. I would happily re-visit and do business with these people any day of the year. Sincerely, Dr. Mark D. Price.

Seriously, its all good. If I had to be neurotic I could say the gym would benefit from some heavier weights... and maybe a Smith machine and lat-pulldown or cable stacks. But really....do many people come to Stockholm to lift weights?

Continental breakfast with cold or hot options. Lots to choose from with good customer service. The rooms were great. Bathrooms were clean. Room service was available if required. Slept well during our stay. The staff couldn't have been more friendly and helpful. Location was a couple of stops on the underground from the centre of Stockholm but we preferred that. There was no problem with transferring from the train on to the tube to get to our location.

Pleasant hotel close to the Metro. Three stops to the old city. Wonderful, smiling and competent staff at the reception - probably the best team we have ever encountered. Excellent and rich breakfast from the quality and fresh products - however, no variations from day to day.

The central AC, sealed windows. We were staying in hot days (27-29 C) and our first room was looking to the sunny side. The poor AC could not cool it below 26 C, windows could not be opened. We asked the staff to arrange something, they said that their AC is not capable at such temperatures :( They suggested the room on the shadow side. It did help a little - temp was 23-24 C. That's the absolute shame for the hotel, which brings all the minuses in my review (however, we had never landed in a hotel with the effective and silent central AC). Breakfast coffee from the can.

The staff at the hotel were extremely helpful and polite. The room was spacious with a large bed, TV. Everything was clean and comfortable. The room has bathroom quite small and no bath tub but it maybe because of the room type which we booked. The property location is about 2KM away from city centre, but you can't miss anything as everything around and you can walk to city centre. You have multiple pubs, bar and restaurants near by with just 2-min walking distance. The hotel also offers private parking but you need to pay for it. Breakfast was quite good and option for vegetarian and non-vegetarian.

We missed electric kettle in our room. I would advice to provide the kettle in each room would be great.

Very close to metro station (300m). Calm and quiet area with ample connectivity to city and nearby restaurants and shops. Super cool, friendly and helpful staff. Superior room was spacious enough for 2 adults and kids and Deluxe double room was ok for 2 adults. Breakfast spread was really good and was sumptuous, tasty and filling.

The door locking system had some hickups as the card was not reading a few times, but the staff was prompt to help us out.

At first glance the Hotel looked a bit old, but once we arrived in the check-in, we were warmly welcomed by staff and the inside of the Hotel was clean and welcoming. We stayed for 5 nights and were happy about the location as it was easy to connect to the old town by the metro station which is so close to the Hotel and walking around the area, discovered very nice dining places. We enjoyed the free wifi, the daily room service and the breakfast! Be sure to have some delicious breakfast every morning and enjoy the outdoor area.

The staff is awesome - Slava, William, Hanna & Ida. The fact that as I guest I know their names says a lot of the hotel.

The AC policy! The rooms are hot and dump - In a work trip it is crucial to get a proper sleep, which it didn't enable. Yes, it was a hot day, but also the day after when the heat wave broke - the ventilation in the rooms was horrible. The management also bolted the windows. I found myself at 1am searching for other hotels just to sleep.

Breakfast was nice, everyone from the staff were lovely. Location is 5/5 and the quality and price relation was more than on point.

Flooring on the bathroom was bit off so water stays on the floor after the shower and might get your socks wet. I'd recommend a small add to the rooms accessory and add squeegee to the rooms where the tilt towards the well is not that appropriate. It is easy to test with a pinball for example!
