Ibis Styles Stockholm Odenplan

A lovely room in Odenplan, clean, & comfortable. We had a triple room, & there was plenty of room - larger than most in the area, I believe. The breakfast was delicious & plentiful. Area for tea & coffee also had a microwave & tables & chairs for meals f you choose to buy convenience meal at the supermarket close by - which we did once. Good public transport 3 mins walk - bus & metro - our main access to local areas & attractions. The hotel stored our luggage happily for 2 days while we took the train to Copenhagen, we returned for 1 night before flying home.

Due o unseasonably hot weather we opened the windows, & the rooms facing the road were very noisy

Good price and location ratio for Stockholm. It was our first visit and we typically stay in Ibis around Europe. We booked last minute so we did not have much selection for choice of rooms. Morning breakfast was good and a lot of space for many guests to sit. Rooms/beds comfortable. Bathroom was large. Hotel is a few metro stops from center - but there are direct trains so no need to change.

Comfort rooms are in the basement with a tiny window. If you are staying several days and plan to be a bit in the room it can be tight/dark. There is technically street parking but we did not want to leave out car on a busy street for several days, so we chose the nearby parking garage that was advised. Be warned this is a 15 minute walk. We walked with our luggage as we could not stop in front of the hotel on arrival (no where to stand).

Almost everything. I arrived a little early but was allowed to check-in early, which was a huge bonus. I frequently stay at the Scandic Continental, which is much more expensive, and they have NEVER allowed me to check in early. The staff was especially friendly. I was in town for the Beyonce concert and the lobby had the Renaissance album playing when I checked in which was a nice touch. When I got to my room, it was exactly what I expected: tidy, came with a hair dryer, simple toiletries.

This is such a minor thing, but every so often when I would move around in the bed, I'd smell this really gross smell, like, unwashed butt. I know it wasn't me, I'd freshly showered! I could not pinpoint where the smell came from so I can only imagine perhaps a previous guest spilled something on the mattress which is why I only smelled it when I moved around.

- Very good location (Very close to the metro and commuter train station, 15 mimutes walk from Gamla Stan, in a popular area with so many good restaurants, cafes and markets, right behind the beautiful Gustav Vasa Church) - Breakfast is very good and delicious. Also there is a free lounge area where you can have various hot beverages and tap water (still and sparkling) 24/7 - Very clean room and other facilities - Very friendly, kind and helpful staff - Hot water in the shower and heating is very good even during the freezing winter days - Wi-Fi is fast

We stayed in the standard double room on the top floor. The room was a bit small and sometimes it was a bit hard to move in the room because of the sloping ceiling.

The super friendly and helpful receptionists. Checked-in at night and they were able to help with a smile on their faces. The room was super spacious with three beds. It was a short walk from really nice restaurants and Mc-Donalds for late light snacking. Really enjoyed the walk at night as well. The free coffee was super nice and was available 24 hrs.

The breakfast was slightly disappointing with not a lot of options. No croissants!!! Come on :D The hotel is far from the city center and the strange public trains from the airport that costs you a fortune if you want to board them from the Arlanda airport. So I had to take a bus to Marsta and then take a train to Oldenplan to reach the hotel, which overall increased the time to arrive at the hotel & the airport on the way back.

It was a really hotel and I wouldn't even call it budget. The location is perfect! Near Odenplan and there are both regional and T-Ban connections, meaning that you can reach airport pretty comfortably for an affordable price. Moreover, to Gamlastan it is around 0.5 hour walking time which parallel works as sightseeing. There are supermarkets and restaurants there. BTW breakfast pancakes were awesome! Many thanks to the staff. Honestly, the weather in Stockholm was freezing cold bold only to this hotel, our Stockholm trip wasn't ruined. Keep it that way, Ibis(Accor)

It was great, nothing to complain about.

Great hotel with friendly and helpful staff. The hotel is located in Norrmalm, which is a very good neighborhood, with restaurants, bakeries, cafés. Cozy rooms with comfortable bed. The breakfast was more than good with wide range of selection. The hotel is great choice if you plan to stay couple of days in Stockholm. Easy to reach by Tunnelbana (green line) or Pendeltåg (commuter rail). Odenplan station is right next to the hotel, just cross the street (Karlbergsvägen) for one of the entrances. Gamla Stan and the Central Station is about 10 mins by Tunnelbana.

Small bathroom and there is no actual shower tray.

Excellent location for access to the City by metro, bus or walking. The hotel had lots of character and a great view from the room, which was huge. Breakfast was good, with hot and cold drinks available from the dining area all day and night. This was brilliant. We had to check-out by 12:00, stored our luggage in the luggage store but our flight wasn't until the evening. We were even able to go out and shop etc and then come back for a refreshment. This was a great bonus. We would definitely stay here again and recommend to friends and family.

The bathroom/wetroom was rather small and the shower water wasn't contained to the shower area but crept out across the floor. The lighting in the room was rather dim and could do with improvement. I had the standard complaint of hotel rooms where there is no decent mirror with daylight or good lighting, and an electric socket for doing our hair or makeup.....but this seems to be a continual oversight in many hotels.

We were there with 3 kids. As hotels usually do not have such a big room, we had to split for some nights. (We’re used to that.) The hotel had a perfect location for us, the city centre was in walking distance (15 mins). The bus stop to the museums (Vasa, Abba, Viking) was in a 3 minutes walk distance, just next to the subway station. Lot of restaurants and shops were around the hotel and some parks, as well. There was a room in the basement, were water, tea and coffee ware available 24/7. The kids enjoyed that very much.

Despite our room numbers were neighbours, the rooms not really. But as we used the rooms only for sleeping, this was not a big issue, at all. And by far this was the biggest negative thing we experienced there.

Very convenient location, just a few steps to the city center. Very nice area of ​​the city. There are many great cafes and shops around. Very good and tasty breakfast adapted to various tastes. Friendly and helpful service staff. You can drink delicious coffee for free 24 hours a day! We would definitely come back again.
