Best Western Hotel Karlaplan

The breakfast was delicious! The staff members were kind and helpful. Location ideal, it was close the the metro station and yet also in good walking distance to the old town. Very clean room. Overall very satisfied and we would choose it again.

At first we had a room on a bottom floor with a street window and the wifi was not working there well. So we asked for another room and got easily changed to higher floor where all was good. The beds were very soft to our taste but some probably like it this way. We tried to follow the instructions in the room where you could keep your towels for another day and also we didn't need the cleaning service so we didn't put the sign on the door but everyday we got our room cleaned and new towels, therefore the aim for saving the recourses was useless.

The buffet breakfast was good - choice of hot dishes and different breads, hams and cheeses. They also produced a 'shot' of ginger/health drink each morning. Tea and coffee was available throughout the day in the reception area with biscuits/cakes. A lovely touch. Various milk options for coffee/tea were also available eg. oat or soya milk. Location was great - 5 mins walk from the Karlaplan shopping centre & tunnelbana. Walkable into town, around 25 minutes. We had a triple room, a double and single and there was plenty of space for bags, etc.

1- Friendly staff. 2- Clean room. 3- A small additional heater. 4- A kettle with coffe/tea. 5- Hot drinks (Coffe, tea and chocolate) through out the day. 6- A large lobby. 7- Location near metro stations. 8- A very good breakfast with friendly staff. 9- Storage of luggage when you check out.

1- Too expensive 2- Breakfast is not optional in booking. Thus you have to pay even if you do not eat. The 2nd day of my stay I was too exhausted, so I slept until noon. I did not eat breakfast, but I still paid for it. It would be nice if there was an option when booking with or without breakfast.

The Hotel is good. The included breakfast is very good, with many options. It has luggage store, that we used. The staff is very kind, efficient and helpful. The location is not the best (1.5 km from the city center), but if do not go walking it has metro near (~100 m). The price is reasonable.

My room is small (well informed of that), but sufficient for the needs. The luminosity from the exterior is not well stopped, and it is difficult sleeping good; I suggest ticker curtains.

The room was a good size and even with an additional bed it didn't feel cramped. Bathroom was clean and bright, with a great big shower. All the staff we encountered were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was tasty although the breakfast room became quite busy. Tea, Coffee, Chilled water with fruit, biscuits and muffins in reception area was nice bonus.

Room became very hot in the afternoon / evening due to being in full sunlight. Aircon would help. Decoration was a little tired.

good location. nearby centre and bus stop and metro station. great breakfast! lovely staff and affordable prices. nice parks and dinner places in walking distance.

the floor was a bit dusty. my bed sheets were cleaned but the sheets had stains in them that apparently dont come out. my room was below street level and therefore had a bit of a basement-feel. i didn’t mind all of the above but other people might.

Great location for museums and easy bus/train to city central. Very clean, excellent breakfast, friendly staff. Rooms compact and wall paint a bit drab but very comfortable, and windows open for fresh air.

If there was a fridge in my room it would be 10/10. Wall paint also a bit drab.

Good breakfast, with large selection. Nice, large room. Friendly and helpful staff. Good shower cabin, no water on the floor.

The showerhead didn't give a good spread of the water, more like a hose. No parking, only expansive street parking (but cheaper/free on weekends).

Breakfast was even better than I expected, very rich open buffet. I would definitely recommend single bed room for a solo traveler, clean and comfortable. Both neighborhood and the hotel itself also make someone feel safe. Staff was so kind and friendly. I will definitely stay in there for my next visit to Stockholm.

the room is clean and lovely, I really like the window of garden. they serve great breakfast, and free snacks and coffee all day long. so reasonable!! and location is great too.

no air conditioner, but in this season for me, it’s totally fine!
