Unique Hotel Jungfrugatan

Upon arrival, the manager welcomed me with open arms and a laugh and a smile. Helping me with every bit of information I could ask for. Furthermore, when entering the room it was light and neat. Having a modern interior whilst staying compact and having all comforts a person might need, including a proper bathroom and small desk. Breakfast was extensive and delicious. Which set you up to directly head into the city, which is only a few minutes walk away, with the Östermalms Food Hall right around the corner. I would like to use this space to further commend the manager, who stayed accessible whenever you saw her, open to suggestions and striving to further improve the experience at the hotel. The entire experience makes you want to come right back to the hotel and Stockholm.

The time the cleaning started could be considered a little early for some. As they started during breakfast with the first rooms, and that might be the time people also need to grab the last things from their rooms. Apart from that none

About a 20 minute walk to most sites that we wanted to visit. Close to restaurants. The area is quiet most of the time. We were on the 2nd floor and had windows that opened. Very clean room - the bed was comfortable. Reception was able to answer our questions and help us as needed.

There is a restaurant attached to hotel, but only open from 11-4. Our view is an inner courtyard view so we see some rooftops and other apartments/hotel rooms - there is also a view of some ongoing construction - not so attractive to look at. Our room is small and basic; no cozy chair to sit in and a very small table that doesn't allow 2 people to work digitally. No public space with tables to work - the restaurant has some tables and chairs outside, but we were in Sweden when it was cold and rainy.If you take a shower about 7 in the morning, there is little hot water.

The location is so very close to the centre but without the usual noise of central streets. Inside the hotel there are very cute and old-looking staircases that, in my opinion, add to the atmosphere. But there's also a lift, if you're feeling lazy or just tired. Personal favourites: my giant window with blackout curtains and my bathroom beauty lights. You'll have Netflix and YouTube set up on your TV as well as a personal kettle and a suitcase stand. Also you get hand soap and shower gel that smell delicious, so don't bother bringing your own. The staff are very respectful and welcoming.

The mattress was so. very. SOFT. And not in a good way. You could drown in that thing. I couldn't even sit on it. If you don't like soft mattresses, you might consider sleeping on the floor. But that's my personal preference, as I usually sleep on very hard surfaces that few hotels can accommodate. Also no fridge, unfortunately.

This was a great place for a solo traveler. I got a single room and it was small and simple but well-equipped, comfortable, and affordable. The bathroom was brand new and clean. The breakfast had tons of options and in a cosy space, and the woman who ran it was really sweet. The internet was really fast on video calls. And the staff was very nice and helpful - lost my key after the reception had closed and someone from came quickly to let me in and was very understanding about it

The room got a little drafty at night, but I don't know if I was adjusting the heater correctly

Our stay for the price was brilliant, the property is closely located to a metro and close to restaurants etc so very convenient. We found the bed to be SO comfortable, it was the most comfortable sleep we’ve had in a hotel. Our room was kept clean, I wasn’t even expecting housekeeping during our stay and the receptionists were very helpful in recommending sights! There was no noise for a hotel that seemed to be fully booked on booking.com and all the facilities worked as expected, it was great that you could watch netflix or prime on the Tv at night. Would stay again!

There wasn’t anything we didn’t like.

I had a small room on the top floor with slanted ceiling and exposed beams. If you like big rooms this is not for you but I found the room nice and cozy. There was no window but that doesn't bother me. The room was very quiet and had a comfortable bed, and I slept very well. The hotel is in a great location and you get good value for money.

The hotel doesn't offer breakfast, but you have a kettle in your room. However, on the tray there was only 1 tea bag(!) and the cup and spoon were not clean. (Everything else in the room was clean though.) And on the morning I was leaving the elevator didn't work and I was struggling to get all my heavy luggage down from the 4th floor. I was going to tell the reception about this but at 8.20 it still had not opened. Besides these small issues I had a great stay, however to call this a 4 star hotel is not a correct descripton, this is a budget hotel.

This hotel was exactly what I was looking for: clean, affordable and in my old neighborhood. it was definitely not “fancy”. No fancy lobby. Rooms were very small, but we didn’t go to Stockholm to spend time in our hotel. Beds and bathroom were clean and comfy- again, pretty bare bones, but just what we needed, at a good price. It is an old apartment building converted to hotel, with an elevator to get bags upstairs. I loved the location because I used to live nearby, but it is still centrally located and near the subway. it is an upscale, quiet residential area, with no noisy tourists, and close to my favorite non-touristy sites, Östermalmshallen (indoor luxury food market). It is next to a beautiful old church. The staff was wonderful, especially the young man with the curly hair. I will definitely stay there again, and recommend it if you need practical, not luxury.

it was ideal for our needs, though the pillows were small and we each only got one. (I could have asked for another, of course). There is an elevator to get heavy bags upstairs.

What a great stay! Really friendly and helpful staff - both on reception and in the bar! The room was very spacious with lots of hanging space. The bed was very large and very comfortable. Bathroom was very clean and the shower pressure and temperature were spot on! They also offered a free breakfast as a promotion which was a continental style buffet and was really good

The only downside (and it is minor) was there were no drawers to store small items, underwear, socks etc. But it wasn't a biggy for me

The location was a bit hard to find for someone in the city for the first time, but once we did the hotel was well located within moderate walking distance to what we were interested to in the city. It was 20 minutes walk to almost anywhere downtown including Skansen and the ABBA museum.

The room we were in with the balcony did not have a lock on the balcony door. It would be very very hard to access from the outside, but it popped open a couple times unless you really tried to close it. I would've liked there to be a deadbolt or similar.

Breakfast was decent. There wasn't a large variety but given the price it's good enough. There's coffee, cold cuts, bread, milk, tea. The rooms had instant coffee and tea. The location was excellent with transit to all major areas.

The ventilation in the room wasn't good. Breakfast is OK but there wasn't much variety and there weren't much vegetables.
