The staff were wonderful. The central location was excellent.

Unfortunately air con is not turned on until May 1st but Madrid was particularly hot when we were there. We couldn’t open windows as the central location meant it was too noisy. The staff were very apologetic but it was out of their hands. Breakfast was rather average if staying again I would probably book room only and go out for breakfast.

The location of the hotel is perfect as is in walking distance of most major attractions, great restaurants all around and the Gran Via is just a few minutes away on foot too. It is very clean, staff are very friendly and the regular checkout time of 12pm is really welcome

The room's Air conditioning is centralised so you cannot regulate it yourself and the room was just too warm. We asked at reception and they obliged by reducing the temperature a little bit still we would have liked to have it much cooler. Breakfast was decent but hot items are not replenished when finished especially if you go down for breakfast after 930am (breakfast is served till 11am)

Great location, very close to the "Teatro Real".

The quality of the coffee was very poor and did not correspond to a 4* hotel. A good coffee guarantees a happy customer! :-))

The location and massive beds were the best things about the hotel - also the rooms and toilet were a good size - location easy can can walk to everything you would want to. Would stay here again if they had a decent price per night.

So they had a really wired thing regarding breakfast whereby even though my booking was for two ppl they only had one breakfast included I would have to pay extra for the second breakfast, so I just did not use their breakfast and we used the coffee shops & dinners outside the hotel.

The staff were very helpful, cheerful and friendly. The breakfast was great, the room was clean and kept clean throughout the stay. There was a coffee machine in the room, which was great. It could gave been even better if they had available small kettles for tea people as well. In any case, they always had solutions and the only thing you need is bring a small (350 to 500ml) thermos or mug with you and they provide hot water from the reception. I thank each of the staff from the reception, restaurant to the housekeeping for making not only mine but also all the guests’ stay a memorable one with their helpful and friendly attitudes. And its location is great one close to everything and many metro stations around the hotel.

Each night the room was very warm. Bed was comfy but the aircon was ineffective so we didnt sleep particularly well. The bathroom was fantastic, however shelves etc had been moved and the holes left by original fittings had not been dealt with etc. Nice to have them touched up but a 'nice to have' for aesthetics only x

I loved the style of the room. The splash of colour on the headboard was a lovely touch. The Juliet balconies were my favourite aspect. The coffee machine in the room was perfect for a morning espresso. The bed was a great size, nice and big and super comfortable. The room was also incredibly clean. The light coming through the windows was perfect, the room didn't have too much direct sunshine but was also not at all dark. The air conditioning worked very well, a necessity to battle the extreme heat of an August in Madrid. All of the staff I encountered were kind, friendly and accommodating. The location was also great in terms of its proximity to Gran Via.

There was no conditioner or body lotion in the bathroom, which for short stays was a little annoying as I had to buy some. The bottom of the bathroom door was a little scuffed, some of the wood had detached itself. This is obviously not a major issue, it is just something that can be rectified in the future. The area was mostly nice and safe, especially during the natural waking hours, however I wouldn't recommend walking further down the hill after 12 as there is a club, not a necessarily loud or boisterous one - no sounds were heard at night when attempting to sleep, and there were a few shady characters about. I do understand that this is part and parcel of many areas of a big city and can be avoided on a person to person basis.

my room 105, positioned on the first level, unfortunately the side road next to my room was super noisy. Woke up at 2am by a truck loading trolleys of linen. Also a stack of bins also in that street, and sounded like the recycling was removed because loud glass crashing also kept me awake. There is also strong drain smells in this room, and food extraction smells. although I had the aircon on the lowest fan speed, it was blowing into my face because it’s position, I had to juggle between noise with some air flow / the blowing air / drain smells. Didn’t have a good rest. I don’t think it’s the Hotels fault re the noise outside, nor can they be faulted for the strong aircon. this was my experience.

Pros: - Super clean and cozy room -LOCATION! Right in the heart of Madrid and near so many restaurants, shops, transit, etc. It’s situated on a nice quieter street, yet super close to the action. -Great staff! Everyone was friendly and willing to assist with any needs we had -Bathroom amenities like shampoo, body wash, hand wash -Fridge in the room stocked with beverages -Coffee machine in room -Blackout curtains

Cons: -Only con is that the sheets are very thin to use as a blanket if you like the A/C on. However, we called to get an extra blanket and they brought us a nice comfortable one.

The front desk was very friendly and helpful. We arrived early and the guy managed to get us checked in. It was a big help since we had a super long day flying. The location was the reason I booked, and it’s at the center of everything. Most places were walkable for us. Since we traveled with a baby, we could take breaks during the day and walk back to hotel anytime. There was a little gym in the hotel which was nice, small, simple but have basic things and some free weights, def a plus. We could hit a workout in the morning before heading out.
