The location is perfect! The decor in our room was quite decadent and gave us the feel we were in Paris instead of Madrid!! The little balcony is a nice touch and there are loads of bars, cafes and restaurants right downstairs. The check-in was seamless and the option to store luggage for a while after check out was very nice. This was the perfect location for our brief stay and we would not hesitate to stay here again if in Madrid.

The bed was tad too hard for our taste and the bed is very low to the ground. The bottom sheet kept coming undone and we had to adjust several times throughout the night. Part of its charm are the old wooden floors which creak quite a bit and one can hear the upstairs guests walking about—this may annoy some light sleepers.

A stunning building..the room (deluxe double with balcony ) was beautiful.. The bed was extremely comfortable....Great mattress and pillows...good shower and plenty of hot water.. Having the French doors and Juliette Balcony was fantastic as we had 28 degrees in April 😎.. The staff were lovely. Couldn't be more helpful.. Mikaela (spelling?) on reception helped us enormously helping us get tickets to the Prado when we were having difficulties accessing them and booking taxis for us as required. The location was just perfect for us but others may prefer to be where it is mega busy. Mikaela booked us a taxi back to the airport as although we got from the airport without a problem it is a bit of a hike cutting across the big metro stations from one line to another if you have cases and not just cabin luggage.. There are loads of stairs running from the platforms not just the ones where there are also escalators.. Ensure tickets are booked in advance for the Palace/ Prado/AVE to Toledo if required..

Beautiful, high-ceilinged room in the Old City with rustic beams and French balcony overlooking Palace Real, gardens, and statues. You can easily stroll the Palace gardens and see the old city wall from Moorish times. Ideal location a couple blocks from Opera Metro station, which is only a few stops in either direction from most attractions, including Gran Via shopping, Prado and other museums, and the West Side where we had business. An easy 15-minute walk to San Miguel Market food hall. Lots of cafes in the neighborhood. The front desk was very helpful with information and setting up Covid test for re-entry to US.

This is an apartment rental, so if you are looking for a ritzy hotel with lobby, bar, business center, and ice machines on every floor, this is not it. We actually walked past the front door several times because there is only a small plaque outside. On the other hand, we really enjoyed the quiet privacy and did not want for any comfort at all. It's also an old building, in excellent shape, but with squeaky wooden floors and a tiny elevator.

What wasn’t to like? The apartment was spacious, included a washing machine, and multiple windows allows in plenty of light. The staff was extremely helpful and let us keep our bags for an entire day after we checked out as we did an overnight in Toledo. The location is great too with the Royal Palace a 2-minute walk and metro access 4 minutes away.

Great location, we just walked everywhere (there are a lot of great places to eat nearby) and amazing hotel staff (Mihaela, Crystal & Felipe) who made our stay so memorable and very comfortable. Room was so fancy and pretty. We will definitely stay again once in Madrid.

walking into the property I was transformed to a time of elegance and opulence. after a friendly check in I was escorted to my apartment. the rounding handcrafted wooden stairs and center elevator with the walls artwork adorned and subtle soft lighting. when the door opened to the room ,I gasped. gorgeous chandeliers, exposed wood beams, century furniture. the creaking floors were charming. I opened the tall window to view the palace and a park filled with trees and songbirds. many restaurants close by, mercado, opera house to take in an opera. the music school nearby you can sit in your rocking chair gazing out the open windows and listen to the artists practice their instruments or an opera singer. amneties in the room was comfortable. safe, kettle. ask for an iron. the staff were absolutely pleasant. stay at the apartments to experience a Madrid from another time we can only imagine.

We loved the location, very close to the Royal Palace and walking distance to all the main museums and attractions. The room itself was tastefully decorated and very spacious and the staff were so friendly and helpful, booking taxis for us to the airport and to get to our meeting point for a day trip to Toledo.

I like everything about the property: the location was fantastic, smack in the middle of one of the most interesting areas in Madrid set in an amazing park with the Opera house and the Royal Palace as neighbors, you can’t ask for more; the room was beautiful and stylish; the staff was wonderful; the entire facility was very clean and beautiful.

The room was spacious. The place was right across the Royal Palace, beside the Teatro Real and near Plaza Mayor. The staff were very helpful and accommodating. Thank you.

We could hear the footsteps of the occupants of the room on top of us and the floor make squeaking noise when we walk. We can hear sound like the water pump/pressure tank near the toilet. We did not find the place immediately because there was no name outside but Leo was quick to meet us when I called him. Thank you.

The location of the apartment was incredible. We were right in front of the palace. The hotel was easily accessible to many different restaurants, museums, and even public transport. The staff were also incredibly friendly. The room itself felt like a room set in the show "The Crown" - very regal and antique. My fiance and I had to work remotely from the hotel during our stay and we found that it was generally quiet and the internet speed was great.

Our room was on the 4th floor under the laundry room so the ceiling would sometimes shake if the laundry machine was going. However, this wasn't that frequent. I think other rooms didn't have this issue.
