iclub Wan Chai Hotel

Location is good, dingding just in front and the hotel itself about 5-7min walk from Wan Chai MTR (exit A3). Breakfast (level 5) is complimentary with coffee tea juice and some buns. Gym (level 5) has basic equipment. Laundry room (level 6) has 1 washer 1 dryer, need to buy token from counter. Room service every day.

Room look much smaller in person. Especially dislike the toilet which has glass panels for walls. The person in the toilet / shower has to pull a curtain over the glass panels for privacy purposes. They should just paste a frosted film over for comfort sake. Next, staying 3 persons in the room was a tight squeeze. The sofa bed is pulled out and dont really have much space to walk.

Location is perfect for foodies. Lots of eateries around with a 1 star Michelin restaurant just right behind the hotel. Simple bfast available daily in the lounge (bread & pastries) with butter and jams, coffee, tea and water free for guests to consume. Walking distance to Wan Chai MTR (A4 exit is probably the closest).

The door is too heavy and can't be left open which is inconvenient for the 2 Bedroom Suite + staying with kids. The aircondition in one of the room wasn't working right, it will not go higher than 23 degree celcius so we got to off it completely each time we wanted the room warmer. The hotel staff unable to fix it. Rooms prob need some fixing and better maintenance (wallpaper coming off here and there, the faux leather of the bed stand peeling off, etc).

stayed at 2008, high ceiling, very spacious compared to HK standards.

hotel is in a great location for transport, MTR, tram, bus & taxis all to hand, short walk over to Wanchai Ferry pier to cross over to TST. Many Shops, bars & Restaurants plus Wanchai market. Liked that the hotel room floor was tiled and not carpeted, Not a huge room but not many are in Hong Kong. Had everything I needed. Shower had a good strong supply of hot water. Towels were fluffy & white. kettle for making tea/coffee. plenty of hanging drawer space. desk if you need to work. double bed was ok. Check in & out were efficient. Able to leave suitcase in lobby after checking out room before needing to go to the airport. Had a problem with toilet flush not working & managed to lock myself out of the safe. Both issues were sorted out swiftly with friendly staff, had no further problems. would stay in this hotel in this location again

This was our first visit to Hong Kong and I can’t say for sure, but having looked at short-term accommodation options on Booking, this hotel is really good for its price, although it is high. The room was very spacious, there was a kitchen, a spacious shower, and a comfortable work desk. Not super fresh but good. Opposite the hotel there is a tram stop that takes you to the ascent to Victoria Peak. The metro station is also not far from the hotel.

Like the bathroom and bed amenities. Clean and sufficient. The location is excellent. Easy checkin and checkout process.

The room for two people was too small and not enough space to move all around or open up our luggage bags. This was better for 1 person. The bed in this room was quite hard and not comfortable for those who sleep on their side. The room for 3 people had a sofa bed instead of a proper third bed. This wasn't ideal for us.

The location is excellent, very near the Wai Chai MTR station. The room size is decent in Hong Kong's context. Breakfast is simple with break, jam and the coffee is freshly brewed from beans. For the price of the room, I can't complain.

The bathroom is walled by glass panels which can be blocked by blinds. The blinds however have small gaps. It is fine for couples but less so for family. Hotel may like to provide pegs to clip the blinds.

Free upgrade to assessible room which is quite a bit bigger. Room and furniture look old but all in all it is clean enough. Close to MTR, bus, ding ding and taxi. There is a on site self-serve laundry. Laubdry, lounge and fitness room all open 24 hours.

The room and furniture could use some updates, looks old. Some cabinet doors are coming loose.

We were given a free room upgrade which was really nice - the room was really big. The location is so easy to get anywhere in the city from Wan Chai station. Super clean.

Communication before we arrived was a bit confusing, we thought there were going to be extra charges, but luckily there weren't.

Spacious, clean rooms. Our room is U-shaped, which is unique. Friendly, helpful staff. Breakfast is a plus, although we usually just go get a coffee since there are so many restaurants near by. There is a Wellcome supermarket just across the street. Also a self serve laundry on the 6th floor, about $50HKD a load.

Only bath towels provided, no face or hand towels.
