Holiday Inn Express Hong Kong Causeway Bay, an IHG Hotel

The staff have a good service attitude and even accompany me to the road for directions. Located in the center of the city, convenient transportation, more convenient shopping, next to the famous Times Square. The room price is suitable.

Asked two hotel front desk staff, both said the only way to get to the airport in the middle of the night was by taxi. However, I finally found the public midnight bus to the airport on my phone APP. Could it be that these two, like me, are also newcomers to Hong Kong? ...

Location, very close to shopping mall and dining, 3 minutes to metro(subway), right next to UNIQLO(Asian H&M), pharmacy, Apple store, Sketchers, Five Guys...etc. It is clean and quiet, the staffs are very helpful.

You can choose 1 from 4 options(type of food) for the breakfast, they ring the bell every morning at 7:00 and put a box in front of the door. Coffee is cool slightly and the food is lousy. Book this hotel w/o breakfast and go out, there are plenty of restaurants near the hotel. I was expecting a restaurant in the hotel property, but NO.

Staff were great. They were very helpful and attended to every need quickly and attentively. I called for an extra pillow and they literally arrived two minutes later and with two extra adapters. They proactively also asked if we needed anything and when we said no, they suggested several different items including extra bottled water.

Humidity levels in the room and corridor were high. The fold out sofa is not comfortable. And the rooms can be cleaner (dusting).

The location is great! :) Room is clean and comfortable. Loved the breakfast vouchers in Mcdonalds or Starbucks.

Walk inside the MTR Causeway Bay Station to get to the train is quite far.

The staff are very helpful and nice. As we had a lot of baggages upon arrival, it would have taken a long time to take them to our room if the staff didn't help us to take them.

The choice of breakfast is rather limited. We could only eat the breakfast prepared by the hotel in our room. The hotel only offers cash vouchers of McDonald's and Starbucks. Besides, I think the hotel can take reference to their counterparts in Japan by providing self-serviced amenity corner at lobby so that the guests don't need to call the staff for amenities everyday. This can also save the time if staff.

Great location right next to Times Square. Staff were professional, yet friendly. Bed very comfortable. Breakfast vouchers were decent.

The tap and sink in the bathroom really needs to be re-designed. The spout of the tap is too short and positioned too far away from the sink; when you turn it on, the water hits the lip of the sink and spills over onto the countertop, wetting everything there. Only by turning on the tap full blast do you increase the arc of the water to drop into the sink. (But then you're really wasting water.) I spent my time there mopping up the countertop with my towel. Fire the interior designer.

Excellent location, close to Times Square, close to transport links but the rooms were nice and quiet. Decent breakfast options with McD or Starbucks vouchers (but room service option was prompt but limited in choice). Staff were great, attentive & helpful - quick to make up the sofa bed and providing extra bedding when requested.

The bathroom sink and tap design could be better as the spout was too close to the edge and water spilled onto the counter. With the sofa bed made, there was nowhere to move the office chair to prevent it from blocking the tv (but we did not consider this important as we did not spend much time in the room).

4 sets to choose from - ample choices , but the congee was tasteless , would have been better if pickled vegetables on the side was offered, or side condiments like salted or century eggs.

One day I requested to take out the breakfast to eat in our room and it took like 15-20 minutes just to get it, the man at the door had to give my order slip two times before it was attended to. I know the hotel was busy because previous days the 2nd floor bft room was not full, but last Friday while waiting for the takeout breakfast, people was queau g up and passing me by one after the other - about 15-20 pax passed me by. It was much easier to dine in than to take out the breakfast! I really did not understand why the first come first served was not in practice that morning. Friday 17Mov. Have never had such a bad experience with Hinn Express Causeway Bay - first time :-(

Good location. Comfortable. Housekeeping staff was excellent - polite and helpful and made sure we had enough bottles of water for our daily activities and gave us extra laundry bags. Front desk staff was polite but did not have helpful information a tourist might need.

Bathroom sink area was not clean. Black stains in the piping (RM 2112). The sink tap handle was falling off. There was a dirty stain in the carpet near the bathroom. On the last night, I added one pax to my room but no cup and no glass was provided for the 3rd person. Only 1 pillow was given for the 3rd person.
