Résidence Intergénérationnelle de Lille

It's a quite new building. Quite silent. The room was very clean. I spent 4 nights here and I was very satisfied with the accommodation. It has got a small kitchen (consist of 1 pan, 1 pot, boards, cutler, scissor). In the bathroom there is shower gel. You need to bring kitchen towel and dishwasher though. There is also a water cooker (bring extra teabags and nescafe). Some staff employees speaks English, some of them not. The appartements mostly on the 4th floor. The breakfast is simple: bread, baguette, yoghurt, butter, jam, nutella, cereals, milk. The price is worth for 1 person, especially when you can cook in the appartement. I really like it! Tv channels are mostly in French, and there was also Netflix to watch for free. The area is fine. I used V'Lille bikes to rent every day and cycle to the centrum. Closeby is a great bakery (Au P'tit Louis) I didn't use public transport. I came by train, have neither experience with parking by car.

So this apartment is inside the L'Olivier Bleu senior complex! Getting the keys from the reception downstairs is fairly easy, and there are two lifts. Very close to the Porte des Postes metro station, and the Boulevard Victor Hugo with lots of nice lill shops & bars. The apartment is clean, comfortable, and has a balcony. The tv works well. Try the local Lidl - it's a real treat! Prices in Lille are way lower than in Paris.

There was no toilet paper..! Perhaps intentionally so, because this is an apartment hire.

the apartment was great. if it was warm the balcony would have been nice to sit on. it is close to the metro and a supermarket. It has a good size fridge and 2 burner cooktop as well as a microwave. It was comfortable, bright , warm and quiet. there are plenty of eateries close by.

a kettle to boil water for tea/coffee would have been helpful. You need to take soap for the bathroom.

In general apartment has everything we needed, comfortable enough. Location is very good, there's a metro station in 5 minutes walking, Carrefour in 3 minutes walking, area is quiet.

Shower has no cabin, so whole room is in water. When we were there, there were a construction across the road, was a bit noisy, but sound isolation is good. Some personnel does not speak English.

Everyone was lovely. Place was sparkling clean. Fridge, freezer, 2 ring induction hob brilliant

Breakfast was a bit too basic. Would have liked a bit of cereal choice, but OK. Main concern was the fire alarm system. This was set off repeatedly, allegedly by people's cooking. Consequently no one took it seriously. With a high number of smokers, too, there is always a fire risk and if there ever was a fire, it could become a tragedy.

A very comfortable stay, the residence certainly does not feel like a home for the elderly or student accommodation; it has a modern semi-hotel feel about it with high levels of cleanliness and VERY spacious living quarters. I would certainly chose this over any chain hotel and the breakfast was fine too. A very good choice, just minutes from the metro and 10 mins to the town centre.

The studio is absolutely lovely. It’s very complete. Brand new. Lovely concept mixing students, elderly people and travellers. One day I received home-made pancakes.

It’s a bit further away from town and the area is not very inspiring. The concept is new and it wasn’t clear for me how it worked with the restaurant and other facilities.

As compensation for the beds being too small, they served breakfast.

bigger bed. They are only 1.20 size. In them not possible sleep 2 people. Should take care of delivered beds.

Brilliant location, straight off the metro and an interesting walk down rue de postes to the centre. Wonderfully friendly staff available even very late at night. Immaculate generously sized rooms

The transportation is very good because it is close to the Metro Station. Breakfast is simple but delicious, and the staff are really kind.
