B&B HOTEL Lille Centre Grand Palais

Excellent helpful friendly staff. Couldn’t do more to help. The central location was excellent as was the very reasonable €5 overnight secure underground parking. overall really great value for money.

The supposedly non-smoking room had clearly had a smoker /smokers in it recently and the lingering aroma was definitely rather unpleasant although the room itself was perfectly clean and tidy. Also (not the hotel’s fault) hardly anywhere was open nearby in the evening for dinner or a bite to eat and this was a Saturday night. But thankfully there was a good 24/7 supermarket available within a couple of hundred meters.

Generally good quiet lication. They have their own free parking garage which is always a plus!! our room was quite small but it was clean ( bathroom too) and comfortable enough for a basic accomodation. The staff were all friendly and polite and the breakfast was okay ( at least 4 kinds of brown bread and 2 kinds of croissant (butter&chocolat)....with scrambled.eggs, bacon and sausages. Only suggestion - it would be more bslsnced if there were selections of veggies, like cucumber slices and tomatoes, but it must be because of covid, that they were not serving veggies. Generally, a good place to stay when in Lille, though a whole building and room update /modernization/renovation is very welcome in the near future!

The hotel is ok, is clean, the bed is nice, pillows are small, the bathroom is ok and toilet is clean, they got BBC world news, everything about the hotel is ok, the staffs are excellent with kindly and nice approach, I started wondering if am not in France.

The air condition, very bad not cooling at all, when the weather was 40 degree, I couldnt stay in the room. I went to KFC to be there until late evening and came. That is the only thing many visitors their are complaining about and everyone was shy to speak outm we only share this experience within our selves, other than that the hotel is excellent

- The breakfast was nice, but no more than that. The hotel met our expectations completely, we weren't expecting luxury for this money, but it had what we were looking for. It is quite a walk to the city centre, so if you don't like getting to places on foot, maybe this hotel isn't for you. For us it wasn't a problem at all.

Veary clean rooms, every day. Also the lobby is clean and the brekfast room also. The staff is verry friendly and polite. The Hotel impressed us already with the facade which is realy sustainable and even there is aircondition in the room, the plants infront of the window, makes the room cool and friendly. There is also a comfortable parking space in the same building. The neighborhood is clean and friendly. The hotel is only 600 m from the next metro and only 2 stops from city center. Walking way to the city center is ca. 10 min. Which is good.

We stayed here for 1 night during our weekend trip to Lille. Excellent value for money. Friendly staff. No need for a checkout because there are no room keys, just a password, so you can just walk out—so convenient! We did not have breakfast but it looked nice from afar. Our room was small but mind that this is a budget hotel and only essential amenities were present—which is fine. Sheets were extremely clean, so were the towels. We were asked if we needed a baby crib because we were there with our 2 year old, but we didn't—all 3 of us slept on the same bed just fine. We picked this hotel for the free parking which was advertised but when we arrived, it was full. So we had to park on the street. Luckily, the next day was a Sunday and it was free to park on the street so it worked just fine for us. We got what we needed. Thanks for the stay!

Shower tap was a bit run down. The taps could be renewed. (Though the water temperature and pressure were great.) Sounds from the corridor can be heard from the room. A few people walked and talked over the night, which I heard for a few seconds—but it was fine.

The room was very clean, quiet and the blinds shut out the morning light effectively. Car parking was in the hotel courtyard. Well placed for the attractions of the town.

COVID rules still seem to apply at the hotel, so the breakfast requirements had to be specified in advance and were delivered on disposable plates. I thought the quantity was sparse and although most folks tend to take more than they require at self service, I do think it could have been more generous.

Excellent hotel. It was even better than we expected. Closed safe parking as we wanted. Close to the city center, nice area. The room was very well designed, everything is new. Nice light system. Comfortable bed. But the best thing is that they allowed us to keep car in the parking after we checked out for some hours more.

Ì don't like small windows, also they are covered by plants outside.

Very easy to find, the room was big enough and the air conditioning made a huge difference when we had 31⁰ outside. It was really quiet and the beds were comfortable. We enjoyed our stay.

We found some hairs in the bathroom. The shower is old. We could use a small fridge in the family room.

We really enjoyed our 1 night stay in the hotel in lovely Lille. Everything was so neat and tidy. The room has everything you need. Breakfast costs €10.95 but it was perfect. Above all we really liked Simon at the reception. He was super friendly and helpful. The hotel is great value for money. highly recommended.
