Hotel L'Oie des neiges

The pool and large hot tub were really great, especially for our young child. The room was comfortable, and generally the hotel was quiet and clean. The breakfast had a nice variety of hot and cold foods and was really good!

We stayed there on our way to and back from Nova Scotia and on the way back our AC wasn't working properly. They offered to change our rooms but our child was already asleep and they were going to charge us more. In the end I asked for a fan and that did the trick, but it took 30-40 minutes late at night to get to that point because they kept telling me it was working even though it wasn't. This wouldn't deter me from staying there again though!

We were assigned a room facing a busy street and major highway about 200 meters further from the hotel. Having had a long day, we wanted a 'quiet' room so I asked the staff at the front desk if there was a possibility for a switch to a room not facing the traffic. The staff member was most accommodating and gave us another room facing a quiet parking lot. Room was an upgrade but we were not charged extra, had great night's rest!!! Complimentary breakfast also nice!

A marvellous, vintage hotel that takes us back, comfortably, to another epoch. Just the ambiance makes us relax. Very quiet and spotlessly clean. It was our first stay, but i would definitely stay here again - only too bad it was only for one night this time.

For us, the only fly in the ointment (and thus the minus 1 point in the rating) was the school cafeteria-style service for breakfast, with an employee (very pleasant nevertheless) serving small scoops of scrambled eggs to each guest. One could ask for more scoops, of course, but it was somewhat below par to me. A point to be reassessed 😊

Great location convenient to the highway knowledgeable and friendly staff, especially the bartender Felix. We loved the pool facilities and the ability to look over to the pool from our balcony.

The breakfast was adequate but could be improved with the addition of a few more condiments, such as hot sauce. Once again the staff overseeing the breakfast were friendly and helpful.

Room was spacious, nice sitting area within room. Room was clean and comfortable. Manager was extremely accommodating to our specific needs. (my daughter was traveling with a medium sized dog)

Initial exposure at front desk was less than satisfactory, but was quickly remedied by co-worker who made the process clear and supportive. Construction outside the hotel created a significant amount of light/and modest noise in the room (understand this was beyond the Hotel's control)

Pictures accurate. Location is excellent if you are travelling thru to the Maritimes & want to miss construction & crossing over P Laporte Bridge into QC. You can still take the ferry to QC from close to this location. Lots of restaurants, gas’s stations close by. Good complimentary breakfast served in restaurant.

Warm welcome. Spacious rooms with simple decor, but very clean. Hotel was quiet. Beautiful pool area. Wonderful breakfast included in rate. Easy to find and good choice of restaurants within 5 min. driving distance. About 25 min drive to Quebec City.

No controls for AC in one of the rooms. Decor is a bit dated.

Our stay was very comfortable and the kids loved the pool. Was nice to be able to go get breakfast. My only suggestion would be to improve how the eggs are kept hot. They were cold. But we ate them anyway lol. Thank you so much for the fun filled night

Hotter breakfast

The hotel is a great location. The front desk staff are very accommodating! The breakfast and staff were very good!

We enjoyed our stay on Oct 5/6 when we were in a 3rd floor room. This stay Oct 12/13 we were on the 1st floor, looking out at traffic, construction and a large spotlight! It was a bit creepy and the room was very dark!

Location near major routes. Beautiful pool and hot tub! The balcony overlooking the pool was beautiful! Near all amenities! Malls etc!

The breakfast was not the best. It may be free but cold eggs and not sure sausage was poor. Make you own toast was fine. Warm orange juice. Rather pay for a hot breakfast off the property.
