Hotel Jardin du Gouverneur

Staff were really nice and we were lucky to be able to check-in one hour early because the weather was terrible. Otherwise they have a nice room by the reception where you can rest, have water, coffee etc. Our room was smaller than I thought but the bed was comfy. Bathroom was supplied with shampoos and lotions. Also the location of this hotel is great even if you have to walk uphills to get there.

The room was not that clean and couple towels in the bathroom had stains. Also think twice before taking the small room, it's VERY SMALL, but for us it was ok because we only stayed one night. Also the TV was super old (not a smart tv) and had mostly french channels so we weren't able to watch anything at night/in the morning.Overall our stay was good but I only added these information for future travelers.

Room was small, but on ground floor so that was great given no elevator. Accommodating arrival and departure with nearby public parking with reasonable city pricing.

Coffee Machine and ice machine in lobby were inoperable much of the time, and not fixable by the host at the desk. Unclear instructions I suppose about how to get our room cleaned after our first night (it was not done at all). I guess we were supposed to put door hanger out to signify we wanted it cleaned. We didn't thinking the hanger was just to say "do not disturb". This may be a cultural difference in expectations, but was not communicated if so.

This hotel is adjacent to the backside of the Frontenac. Upon exiting the front door, turn left and walk a short distance to the boardwalk. Just beautiful. The Governor's Park is across the street from the hotel with lots of benches to sit on and admire the people passing by.

We have stayed here a few times before. I can't think of a negative item to write about. The location is perfect. Just park your car and walk everywhere! Comfortable beds, airy rooms with a pretty view.!!

It is right next door to the Chateau Frontenac!! Great location in Old Quebec-clean room and bathroom.

Accommodations were great and clean except our toilet didn't flush. There was a reason there was a plunger beside the toilet! Also no elevator but not a big deal.

Location and view were amazing! totally worth it! they give you a coupon for breakfast in one restaurant that is delicious!

bathroom! shower is impossible, no way you can take shower properly, is too small and uncomfortable , doors aren’t working correctly

It was a bit funky, and we like unique places. Nothing was bad, except the refrigerator was so cold it froze our apples.

The location is amazing. Especially to catch the Thursday night fireworks from the boardwalk. Close to everything. Room was small but we didn't need much space. Perfect for what we needed.

The shower was tiny! I am tall and not small and it was hard to even turn around in the shower. But honestly not a huge issue for me. But if I was a big man it would have been a tight fit!

Staff were very friendly and courteous. Right in the heart of Old Québec, it is easy walking distance from restaurants and attractions. Value for money cannot be beat if you're looking for a weekend away.

Been there several times. Perfect for a quick stay on my way from and to Gaspe. Excellent location One of the few authentic Old Quebec Hotels with 2/queen beds room I’ll be back

Not the hotel but the uneducated young guys running in the quiet streets in their noisy cars and full blast music . No police on sight anywhere.
