Les Lofts Ste-Anne

The Lofts are conveniently located in the Upper Town, a very short walk (few minutes) to the Lower Town (Petit-Champlain, Place Royale), Frontenac, DufferinTerrace, Tobbagan ride (4$CAN per person/ride) and Basilica Cathedral Notre-Dame de Québec. We used the underground parking right a cross the street in the City Hall building (cost for 4 night was around 40$ US). You can also park on the street (3$CAN/1h), we chose the garage, we did not use our car at all during the 4 day stay. We walked everywhere and used the public bus (to get back from the Plains of Abraham), bus stop located in the front of the Loft building (buy ticket at the bus, 3.75$CAN valid 1.5h). In the park you can cross county ski for free, visit the museum (sculptures by artist Jérôme Trudelle are beautiful), rent "magic carpet" for sledding. There is Smith cafe located right below the Lofts, good coffee, you can grab breakfast or dessert. The entrance to the Lofts building is located on "walk only" street, there is few restaurants and stores. There is also a Visitor Centre on the same street. You can buy food at Epicerie Richard, 42 Rue des Jardins, less than 5 min walk. For fresh, warm bakery visit Paillard (7 in walk). The Old Town, most of restaurants, hotels and cafe have free wi-fi. The Loft was very clean, had a nice bathroom, little kitchenet (microwave, stove, fridge), there was a laundry room, TV, wi-fi. If traveling in the winter time bring some warm jacket, hats and water proof boots.

The location was perfect, and apartment was clean. The instructions to get check-in and out were very easy. Our family of 4 (2 teenage kids) all enjoyed out stay.

Would have been nice to have soap in bathroom and an iron/ironing board as well as places to put luggage (luggage rack, table). Parking was tough in part due to construction going on right outside of apartment but that is expected in the city center. We found close parking originally but the lot wasn't available to us after one day during an excursion so we needed to park several blocks from unit.

The location, in the middle of shops, restaurants, things to do, was excellent. We walked everywhere. The suite was roomy, comfortable and clean. We enjoyed having the kitchen so we could keep drinks in the refrigerator and have real dishes for takeout. We did not cook. A shared laundry room upstairs was perfect for mid-trip laundry. We were supplied a great list of suggestions of things do to and recommended restaurants to try. Very helpful.

Nitpicking here: I would have liked drawers to store clothes, more hangers in the closet ( there were 7), and a freezer in the refrigerator for ice.

Good central location in old city. We traveled from Australia with carryon only. Appreciated the efficient washing and drying facilities in the building. Found the bed really comfortable. Room heating was excellent. Good communication from property prior to and during our stay.

Due to snow during our stay the snow clearing was quiet noisy at times during the night. But in reality as we came for a white Christmas this wasn’t really a issue as roads and footpaths were much easier to walk on the following morning.

The location of the Les Lofts Ste-Anne couldn’t have been more perfect. The apartment was in the heart of town and everywhere we wanted to go was within a 10-15 minute walk. The neighborhood is charming and there are many nearby shops and restaurants to visit (I recommend trying the pistachio latte at Cafe Maison right next door to the loft!). The loft itself was very comfortable, spacious, and was the perfect place to wind down in after a long day exploring the city. In addition to a wonderful apartment, the owners were incredibly easy to communicate with and were very helpful. They reached out to make sure we had everything we needed and even booked a taxi to take us cross country skiing. My boyfriend and I couldn’t get over how wonderful our stay was and we can’t wait to come back for another visit! We will definitely be recommending this property to friends and family who want to visit Quebec City!

Location - fantastic , right in the middle of everything this beautiful city has to offer! (Just wish we could spend more time here, but it was sadly a very short trip) Cleanliness - extremely clean and well maintained Host - they were very responsive and the instructions were laid out so well! The loft - looked very pretty, everything was in order.. they were even kind enough to give us a box of nespresso pods, cutlery and everything else needed in the kitchen.. Oh and loved the aesthetics too!

The location is fabulous--extremely central and convenient. Communication was good and check-in was extremely easy, even though a flight delay had me arriving in the early hours of the morning. The kitchenette had everything one could need, including plenty of coffee capsules, which I really appreciated! I also appreciated the tips about local restaurants and shops that I received by text. Thanks for a lovely stay. I highly recommend the Lofts Sainte-Anne and would be happy to return one day.

There were a few hairs on the floor under the small dining table that definitely weren't mine. Otherwise, the loft was very clean.

The location is unbeatable. Hotel is in the very center of the old city. It is arossed street of government of quebec, and right beside the La Basilique Cathedral. Walking distance to literally anywhere you want in the old ciry.

Might not be a good idea for traveling with young children, especially when they need to sleep early at night. It is location above the bar, so it is noisy until 12AM.

This is a fabulous place to stay.The furnishings are quirky, it was very clean and had a very comfortable bed. The location is great to walk to most areas and very near the Chateau Frontenac. There are good cafes and restaurants nearby. Great communication from the property. Very impressed with the free laundry facilities. We would highly recommend this.

Beautiful large flat right in the center of Old Quebec. Clean and modern. Perfect location, walking distance to everything, plenty of room, full kitchen with island and dishwasher. Great views from the top floor. Comfortable living area with large dining table. Second bedroom and extra bed in an alcove were great. In-flat washer/dryer was very useful. The flat was incredibly quiet, even with lots of activity on the street below. Communication with staff was excellent; they were very responsive and helpful.

Beds were a little hard, but I like a really soft bed. The master ensuite is completely open to the bedroom, which we found inconvenient for differing bedtimes and lacking in privacy for the toilet.
