Radisson Blu Hotel Malmö

Location is really good. Underground parking is behind the hotel but keep in mind you have to pay extra for it. Hotel is convienienty close to shops and restaurants. Spacious room and bathroom. Comfy beds.

Room was quite dark. Breakfast was not the best quality. The shower gel smelled moldly which means that its container was not cleaned for a while. Mind that the elevator does't go all the way down to the parking. You have to carry your luggage from parking to hotel lobby and than you can get to elevator. It was not issue for me but i bet it could be for some people. The fridge in the room was not working. Well,in theory it was, but seriously my heart is colder than the inside of this fridge.

Upon arrival due to lack of the two single bed rooms, we were offered a compromise - a free of charge upgrade to the bigger room with option getting second bed. Next day when we extended our stay for one more night staff declined our request to keep the same room in order to save time for us moving out and in to the new room, and for hotel to clean two rooms instead of one.

Very nice hotel with spacious rooms and bathrooms. Definitely exceeded expectations from this perspective.

There was an alarm going on from 2am to 8am (when I checked out) outside of my room. When I called reception at 2 am I was told that it was due to the disabled alarm being pressed in the room across mine. They apparently called the room and as no one answered they can't do anything. This was A) a bit worrying as the alarm was still going on 6 hours later so if someone really needed assistance they did nothing B) this was a known issue and they just lied to me about it making an excuse about disabled alarm. Anyway, got zero sleep due to this but the hotel is very nice otherwise!

Great location close to the station and the city centre. Large room with an enormous bed, desk and lounging area with two arm-chairs and large TV mounted on a pivot so it could be watched from the bed or the lounge/desk area. Friendly, helpful staff and a great breakfast with good selection from the buffet.

Electric kettle was broken (but replaced with a new one very quickly) and the room safe was locked closed and could not be opened by the hotel staff so could not be used. Safe sorage in reception offered as an alternative, but not used. Room renovation had been complteted poorly with odd cables/panels visible. Cabling of TV not installed properly so picture lost when TV moved. Buffet breakfast selection became a bit boring after 4 days!

The staff were fantastic which really does make all the difference. The room was lovely and clean. It was very spacious. Looked lovely, smelt lovely and again very clean. Beautiful views from some rooms too. We had originally booked somewhere else for a 2 night stay but after one night we left the other accommodation due to it being unclean and cold. I wouldn't say it was a bad thing as once brought to the Radisson's staff's attention they were very prompt and happy to resolve the issue but the heating did not work and after leaving somewhere else due to being cold obviously this was an issue for me. The staff instantly brought me a heater to heat my room with within less than 5 minutes of being made aware the heating did not work. (Unlike the place I left) They were also very happy to do it and didn't make me feel like I was being a problem to them at all.

The sink soap pump didn't work well and squirted all over the mirror instead of on my hand. The shower soap, shampoo and conditioner pumps were also slightly faulty. The soap and shampoo squirted in my eye rather than my hand and the conditioner just did not do anything regardless of how many times you pumped it. But unless you pack super light like myself and don't take any soaps ect with you, this would not be an issue at all.

The rooms are huge and great value for money. The beds were comfy. The air-con was good. There were plug sockets by the bed and a desk and chair. The reception staff were great, as is the location in a quiet corner of the centre of town, very near the main train station. There is a casual restaurant where good pub-type grub can be had. We did not have breakfast due to an early checkout so I can’t comment on that.

There are virtually no negatives with the hotel. The service in the restaurant (on the several occasions we’ve visited) though very friendly and amenable has been a bit slow whether the restaurant is busy or half empty and the kitchen is not flexible to accommodate food allergy sufferers.

I recently stayed at Radisson Blu in Malmö and overall, it was a pleasant experience. The hotel's location is perfect, as it's situated near many main attractions, making it easy to explore the city. Additionally, the room was very spacious, and the bed was incredibly comfortable, providing a great night's sleep. And the coffee provided in the room was very good! (Nespresso) I had a good stay at the hotel. I would recommend it to others who are looking for a convenient and comfortable place to stay in Malmö.

There were a few downsides to my stay. Firstly, I noticed that the room was a bit dusty, which was a bit disappointing. Secondly, the shower wasn't very stable, which made it a bit difficult to take a proper shower. Also, you are not able to open the windows, would have been nice some fresh air from outside.

Near to Malmo Central station (800m) and very close to bus stops connecting to Malmo Central and other destinations. Calm and quiet area with ample connectivity to city and nearby restaurants and shops (LIDL, MAX etc.). Very close to St. Peters Church. Friendly and helpful staff. Superior room was spacious enough for 2 adults and kid and to be honest the room size was more than what I expected.

The common area carpet is heavy for luggage strolling. A little crowded at the breakfast area. Breakfast spread was just ok, nothing special.

This hotel has got a very good position in the heart of the "old town". Central station is 5 minutes by walk, but every famous places and museums could be reached by walk within one hour. The front side of the building itself is half an "ancient" inn and it's built into a modern glasshouse lobby. It is very interesting. Breakfast was also excellent. Everything was clean and calm.

An interior architect should be involved when the room furniture position is planned ;). It was quite strange how the bed, desk and sofa were just positioned randomly in the room.

the room was amazingly big (I read a lot about Sweden and the small rooms😅), a huge bathroom with a bathtub (such a bless after a day walking in the cold), the TV has chromecast and for us was a veeery good thing because we could watch Netflix at night. the toiletries were amazing, the best shampoo I ever had in a hotel. And the hotel is located central, you get easily by foot to all the attractions, and also there is a bus stop right outside the hotel. also a big plus was the sauna at the gym, the only thing about it was the location in the changing room, so it was only women/men. we wish for a common one. the breakfast was really good, a lot of options, the problem was the timing, you have to book you time a day before and you have 20minutes, but they don’t make you leave if you are not finished.

the bed was a bit awful. the mattress was extremely soft, it felt like a water mattress.
