Elite Hotel Esplanade

The location is right in the heart of the city, and less than 10 minutes walk from the train station. The rooms were of a good size and were clean and comfortable. There was a food variety of food available from the breakfast buffet. The staff were all friendly and welcoming at all times and very helpful when required for assistance.

The rooms were quite dark, even with every light on inside. The restaurant is attached physically to the hotel but is completely seperate otherwise as we soon discovered. Also, the Sunday morning breakfast scene is nothing short of chaotic. There are signs in the hotel lifts asking for guests to arrive at the "quiet" times but this in turn led to everybody arriving at the quiet times, and with very limited seating in the restaurant, was not really good advice. Had there been no signs, people would have made their own minds when to come. Also, on Monday morning the buffet was being taken away at 09:35 as we arrived, and two other couples arrived after us. Having travelled around the world, 09:30 finish time for breakfast is absurd

Location is perfect. Easy access. In the center, walking distance to all mayor attractions. Super close to restaurants and clubs, and train station. Really comfortable bed. Slept like a princess. Breakfast exceptional, especially the pancakes!!

Room was clean, but curtains were full of dust. And i know, i know... they cannot clean it after each and every guest, but these ones werent washed for quite some time.. was sneezing like crazy

Great breakfast Beds are comfy Seem to be soundproof rooms. Didn't hear much noise. Also like the quite big rooms with high ceiling which gives you a spacious feeling. Parking next to the hotel. Was around 290 kr I believe. Location was perfect as well. Close to Central Station where we took the train to Copenhagen for a day. Lots of restaurants close by and more or less in the city center. Cot arranged as planned

Not much I didn't like. Maybe would have been nice to get a robe. Some dust here and there. But I am quite picky Day before arrival I sent a question regarding the availability of a cot. Didn't get an answer.

Big room, clean facilities, comfortable beds, friendly stuff - they gift us coffee for Christmas and congratulated us on my gf birthday. Breakfasts are really good the choice is vast, they are some vegan options

I ordered flowers for here birthday, but they did not come in the end. Did not pay for it but they just forgot about it unfortunately . I wished there were vegan protein choice, because eating bread with jam is not very good. They big choice of vegan yogurts but adding some vegan sausages or tofu scramble would be nice

The hotel boasts an excellent location, just a 5~10-minute walk from the station. It's ideally positioned for exploring Malmö's old town, the castle, and its beautiful gardens. There's an array of restaurants nearby, offering a variety of cuisines to suit all tastes. The breakfast at the hotel is impressive, with a broad selection to choose from. Additionally, if you have time, I recommend a visit to Lund, which is a mere 15-minute train journey from Malmö. The Lund cathedral and several of Lund University's buildings are particularly striking and worth a visit.

We did encounter a minor issue with the drainage in our bathroom, but it was a small inconvenience. Luckily, our visit coincided with the Malmö festival. As a result, the streets were bustling and lively until late into the night. While it was a tad too noisy for our liking, some younger folks might actually enjoy the vibrant atmosphere (haha).

Everything was superb. I had informed the hotel in advance that we were celebrating my husbands 40th birthday and they were kind enough to leave him a birthday note and a little gift. The rooms were clean, fresh and had all the essentials you could need. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel is very close to town which I really liked but also close to the train station. I highly recommend them!

Not necessarily a problem but I would have liked more options for the hot food at breakfast.

What I liked is the problem with this survey. For example, the woman at the front desk was very helpful, so staff was good. But she gave us a room that was not made up, bed unmade, towels, really dirty, on floor of bath, and a rather unpleasant mess. It was not her fault, but other staff that had falsely reported the room had been cleaned. So I say the staff was helpful because she got us another room and had our luggage shifted (the cleaning staff had left for the day). This happened while we went to fill the car at a service station she had indicated to us. So was 'staff' helpful? She was, others weren't.

Everything was fine in the end. But I had reserved a parking place at the hotel and received confirmation that the space was reserved, but check-in had no record of that. Thankfully there was one place remaining, which we used. So there was a problem even though all's well that ends well.

Lovely spacious room with Air conditioning! The bathroom had a nice tub and I was happy to see there was no carpeting on the floor (allergic to dust) and the curtains blacked out our room nicely considering it got dark at 21:30! The staff was helpful and friendly and had our rooms ready even though we arrived several hours early. excellent location to the train station and the town centre with lots of great restaurants.

The staff are excellent, friendly and always ready to assist. Their English is basically perfect. The breakfast buffet is even better than expected with a wide variety of chocies and the food is exceptional. The only minor remark regarding the breakfast is that it gets pretty crowded even though there is plenty of sitting space, so perhaps try to go early, especially on weekends. Everything else is on point, from location to cleanliness.

The room was incredibly spacious, with a very comfortable bed and lovely bathroom. The staff were very friendly and I was very happy to be able to check in 4 hours before the stated time as my room was already ready. Location was excellent, 5 minutes from the station and right next to the main square

There was a very wide continental selection available for breakfast but I would have liked to have seen a slightly bigger cooked selection. It may have just been the time I came (or I may have been been looking in the wrong place) but all that was left was a few soggy slices of bacon, some scrambled egg, and baked beans.
