Quality Hotel The Mill

The included breakfast was excellent. So many choices, I would have liked to eat much more than I was able to. Staff was kind and helpful throughout. Room was nice, small if you wanted to stay in it for a longer time, but I just needed a bed for the night, and for that purpose it was nice, comfy and quiet.

I needed some standard painkillers, that I've forgotten. I asked the reception, they didn't have any to give out or sell. Not really a problem, there could actually be reasons not to supply those. Chemistry available in 15 minutes walking distance.

The location is very close to everything in the city. The staff is very polite and everyone speaks english very well. The breakfast contains everything you would like for breakfast, extremely varied.

I didn't like that I couldn't set the temperature in the room as desired, is not a choice because it's the same temperature everywhere. Also, the TV has only 15 channels, 14 in swedish and one in english, I think more channels would improve this. The restaurant hotel (excluding breakfast) it's really expensive and doesn't have many options.

Breakfast was the best about it. Really rich selection and good quality!!! The room was clean and modern.

The standard room is quite small. It appears different than on the photos. Alao there was no space for luggage and clothes (no cupboard). That was a disadvantage. Worst thing was that you could not open the window for safety reasons. Not eben a bit. Air wasn't really good. It was October amd luckily not hot. But it was annoying me. Probably one reason why I would not book again even if breakfast was fantastic.

The breakfast was the best I've ever had at any 3/4 star hotel and included local stuff like pickled herring, pickled veggies or various remullades (on top of the usual stuff). Room had a good view (12th floor), the bathroom was really nice and the rest of the room was quite nice, too! Beds were comfy. Superbly quiet. Walking distance (for us at least) to most of the interesting stuff in Malmo. Would stay at again.

No fridge in the room, windows were quite small and couldn't be open, but that's almost cherry picking.

Our room had a window that was unable to open. So it got very hot, and it was not nice that we were not able to get fresh air. Even though the breakfast buffet was great, there were not enough/any people to clean out the tables from used plates. So when we came in the morning to find a free table, we could’nt, even though there was not filled up with people, but because the tables were filled with used cultry.

The room was a bit basic, that's sort of regular Scandinavian hotel standard. But we had everything we needed for a short stay. Location was impossible to beat. It was a few minutes away from every place we wanted to visit. Breakfast was good. Not the fanciest, but a good selection, good quality, and even sugar-free, gluten-free, lactose-free, and dairy-free options. The only bad thing was the coffee. It tasted burnt. There was nice mild background music and cute and funny details in the decor.

No free parking, but that was the rule for all hotels in the area. There was however a huge parking lot right across the street.

Good location, good breakfast (incl. vegan options), fair price even over the holidays. Triangel station is a 5 minute walk. A bus station incl. regional busses is directly in front of the hotel. They also have a gym. They only clean the room on request, which is a sustainability concept to save some resources. However, if you want your room cleaned every day, they make it happen. I find this a good concept to cater the different needs of the guests.

The hotel is located not far away from the central railway station, main sites and a shopping centre. The breakfasts were really good, many options to choose.

My room no. 1015 on the 10th floor did not have a closet, just few hooks for outwear and 2 hangers on a really thin rail attached to the wall. Thus, it you are staying for a longer period, you would not be able to hang many of your clothes. In addition to that, for some reason window in this room did not have a handle and could not be closed without it. At the same time, the room is overlooking a busy street, meaning that it is quire noisy with open window, and AC cannot heat the room in such situation as well (when I stayed it was around 14 C during the night). After addressing this issue to reception, I received a handle and closed the window.

family room is really spacious with good facilities at children's height. Everything was clean and comfy. breakfast was more than expected! very central location, walking distance to triangle st. and city center, neighborhood has good cafe and restaurants.

the room is not sound proof, we could hear neighbors talking and TV/music, as well as cars on the street in the evening. there are three elevators, 1 was broken, 1 was decorated with scary Halloween darkness (not children friendly), only 1 worked normally for almost all guests (cuz not all adults want to take Halloween elevator either), there was quite some waiting time for taking elevator.

Comfortable beds, mostly quiet rooms, excellent breakfast and a location right in the heart of Malmo made me glad I booked here. It was much more comfortable than a 4 star hotel I had just stayed at in Copenhagen at more than twice the price. It was a good base to spend a week exploring Malmo and the surrounding area as the Trianglen train station is nearby which connects to both the Copenhagen Airport and also towns like Lund. The mattress was thick and not overly hard. The TV was large with a clear picture if not a ton of channels.

Windows didn't open; occasional noise from the room above me (chairs being moved, etc.)
