On The Cliff Guest House

Great location, spacious room with wonderful view. Excellent breakfast. Spacious and well appointed lounges and dining room. Charmaine, the owner, was very attentive and helpful throughout our stay.

This property has the potential to be a really top notch guest house, however, the bedroom and bathrooms need upgrading. The balcony, which affords a great view, needs modern and comfortable furniture

Everything was exceptional. The only surprise was that we weren’t forewarned about the “load shedding hours” and were taken by surprise when the power went out in the middle of the night.

Lovely property, just out of the centre of Hermanus, but a short and very beautiful walk into the town centre on the cliff path, which is directly outside the property. Our room (no 1) was spacious and clean, with sea views. The owners and staff very friendly and helpful. A fabulous breakfast. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend staying here.

From the minute we arrived the staff were attentive and very helpful. Lucky greeted us with a big smile and assited us to our room and made us feel welcome by taking us around the guest house. He also organised tea for us during load shedding. The breakfast was great and quality of food really good. Very attentive staff and owner.

We like everything about the property.

Location of property is very close to town with a lovely walk path leading all along the cliff. Check-in was straightforward, and the staff were friendly. Good selection at breakfast. There is also a lovely afternoon tea treat.

On the Cliff was exceptional!! Charmaine and her staff were absolutely lovely - very warm and inviting and full of helpful knowledge. Our room was perfectly ready and waiting for us. The location is great - a short walk into town. And the VIEWS were out of this world stunning. Perfect. Breakfast was delicious and so well prepared. We will absolutely be coming back and telling all our friends about it!

Great place to stay with views over the bay. Convenient for town centre and cliff top path. Owner and staff very helpful. Parking easy.

Very large bathroom which felt cold and uninviting.

Great breakfast on the terrace while watching whales. Charmaine told us a lot about the birds in the garden. We had a great room with a view on the ocean. We loved it.

Great location close to Hermanus' cliff top walk. About a 20 minute walk into the centre of Hermanus. Friendly staff and great breakfast. Perfect for our 3 night stay in Hermanus.
