Campanile Reims Sud - Bezannes

The room is quite small but it was fresh looking, decor wise. The TV was top quality and the beds were nice and comfortable. The bathroom also was very nice, with a nice powerful shower. Tea/coffee facilities and biscuits, are always welcome. Free on site parking and the staff allowed us to park our motorcycles in front of the room, so making them more secure. The restaurant does nice meals, the burger looked pretty generous and the morning breakfast offering was pretty good too. No complaints.

Had to wind the shutter by hand! Previous hotel had electric! :-) Beer prices in the restaurant are very high.

I have stayed in Camanile Hotels for more years than I care to remember, I always look for a Camanile when I travel to France - why - convenience, price, service, facilities, cleanliness, comfort, staff here very helpful as usual (I have had one or two minor problems elsewhere but got the problems sorted out - I don't take "no" for an answer!) Meals, breakfasts (always have these but get in early!) and dinners (had occasionally) have been great - why go anywhere else? So - I will keep coming back when I travel to France.

In the room that I stayed in on this occasion, the shower tray was not leveled properly and shower water leaked all over the floor. Obviously an installation problem as our other travellers rooms did not seem to have this problem. OK - you can't choose your other guests - there was a football team staying at the same time - I dealt with the noise after midnight but - there was a lot of banging of doors due to the door security system. Perhaps your design team should look to installing "soft locking door systems" The only way to close a door quietly on exit in my experience here, is to place the key fob on the door prior to closing to activate the system then to shut the door. These are observations and not complaints.

Not been to a Campanile since pre-Covid. This one has had an upgrade. The bed was great - large and new - very comfortable. In addition the bathroom had been refurbished to a high standard. The room smelled clean and fresh. There was tea/coffee making facilities in the room as well. For an overnight stop - this was ideal. Close to the motorway and yet still quiet. The welcome from the manager was warm and friendly. We parked near to our room. We'd reserved a table to eat when we were booking, had warned the manager that traffic would delay our arrival, immediately put our bags in our room and then had a good meal in the restaurant. Next morning we left early and were able to fill up with fuel before getting back on the motorway - Great

The room was the smallest we stayed in out of the five we visited, but the bed - with two soft pillows - was the most comfortabel and the one I had the best night's sleep in. We were able to access Netflix so another unexpected bonus and I have to say that the dinner we had was the best of the holiday. WiFi was free. The location was good for us as we used it to break our journey from Italy to Eurotunnel, but would not recommend it as a holiday location.

Comfortable beds and surprisingly quiet. Good night’s sleep after a long day’s drive.

The air conditioning in one of the rooms we were allocated (room 24) didn’t work. (However, the manageress was able to move us to a different room, so the problem was sorted). Also the restaurant was closed on the night we stayed but it was a public holiday (Assumption), so not really the hotel’s fault. Breakfast next day was excellent.

Rooms are great for a very short stay or overnighter. Not masses of room, but if you just need somewhere to lay your head, get a shower, etc., this hotel is perfect. The reception, restaurant, and staff were great. Very helpful all round and thoroughly nice food. No complaints at all after a very long drive. This is our go to hotel.

Nothing at all, really. Rooms are small but if you're not intending to spend your whole day there...they're spot on.

it’s a shame that we could not eat evening meal in the hotel as we were not allowed to take our dogs in and didn’t want to leave them in the room, so we are ate in a local bar/restaurant two mins walk away. for breakfast we went in separately so that the other one could look after the dogs. An area within the restaurant could be utilised to allow dogs, I would have thought, given that dogs are allowed to stay in the hotel.

we ended up at this hotel as I had injured my foot as we were cycling across France. When I was dropped off the staff were amazing - brought me ice, put us in a ground floor room as close to reception as possible, brought me ice and water, and the next day arranged for an ambulance and a trip to the doctor. over and above expected service. in addition, our room opened onto a treed courtyard which added natural ambience. good breakfast with several options.

The staff. The man on the desk and taking meal orders was so friendly and helpful as was the chef. The beds were comfortable.

Our bathroom had a strange smell - perhaps due to the shower which leaked all over the floor. There were a lot of little flies in the other bedroom which we had to clean up.

Room was comfortable and clean. Only one chair.

Man on reception was rude and uncooperative. On a very hot day we asked for a drink at the bar and we’re told in a surly way, “not until 19h”. The hotel is on a trading estate, there was nowhere’s else to go, so we had to stay thirsty.
