Hôtel Cecyl Reims Centre

Amazing location. Right in the centre so walkable to most places. We walked to the Tattinger Champagne House, about 20 mins. There are shops, bars and restaurants in front of the hotel. Parking was easy - the multi story is next to the hotel and it cost 16€ for 20 hours stay. Our room was tiny but we had the only balcony so it made a difference. The bathroom was also tiny with a 60cm shower, so don’t drop the soap. Bravo to the chamber maids for making that bed and cleaning the room, they must be contortionists. But it was comfortable We didn’t have breakfast but found a great cafe 15 mins walk Friendly staff

If you are on the large side then ask for a bigger room

Excellent central location. Beds were comfortable, room was clean. Staff very friendly. Would stay here again.

Parking was a bit of an issue- closest car park was next to the hotel but was underground. Due to driving a VW transporter we were unable to access the parking as advised by the hotel due to the height and had to drive around for quite a while to find suitable parking. Not really the hotel’s fault but would be useful to know before booking.

We liked the location, which is central and next to a car park. We were grateful for the friendly welcome after a long day's driving. We enjoyed room design and the carpet, which meant that even the city centre room was quiet. The recommended dog friendly restaurant was helpful and breakfast good I thought the package good value.

Ok, this is trivial. The chairs in the breakfast room are metal. They're light and comfortable but noisy.

Great location in the center with a public car park next to the hotel. Hotel reception very friendly and accommodating to gain 3 rooms next to each other. It was a nice hotel for a 2* hotel and rooms comfortable; however, with the hotel on the main road, it was quite noisy of an evening when sleeping, but it was perfect to stay for one night to break up our ski road journey from Geneva to Calais.

The hotel has 2 stars. I do not understand why it does not have 3 stars. Facilities - towels, toiletries, hairdryer, kettle, tea and coffee... and a biscuit. Wifi. Breakfast available. Decor: plain and clean. One wall is a mirror, the opposite wall is an enlargement of one section of a painting in the Reims museum. You can follow their descriptions of it if you are interested, it's a nice touch. Everything is clean and fresh, nothing is worn. Location: doesn't affect star rating I know, but it's perfect in the centre of Reims.

No refrigerator I think, does that cost them a whole star?

Nice Staff, cozy room. Mine had a nice balcony, the one in the middle directly above the entrance door. There where some little flaws, like for example the door to the balcony that didn't close 100% on the lower portion of the door. But it really didn't bother. I felt very comfortable there and booked anothere night right away. Price/Value was absolutely Okay.!

excellent location - no more than ten minutes’ walk to centre of town. semi-secure multi-storey car park immediately adjacent to hotel (€16 for 15 hours overnight). very clean. unusual but quirky and fun decor. very comfortable bed. welcoming Reception. ideal particularly for a nightstop in Reims.

Brilliant location, right in the heart of Reims plus added bonus of Car Park right next door to the hotel. All added to a very satisfactory overnight stay. Will use hotel again when travelling through France.

Lift very small, really for one person use, plus their luggage.

The people were excellent and very helpful and friendly. A special thanks to the manager who gave us great restaurants off the main drag and went above and beyond to help us with our parking problems. Highly recommend this hotel, one of six places we have stayed in our month in Europe. Tres bonn.

Location right in the centre of the city with bars and restaurants close by; friendly staff; safe public parking in building nextdoor; good price.

The bathroom could have been more spacious but good enough considering the cost of the room.
