Tallink Express Hotel

it was close to the Old Town and other attractions and was very clean. The breakfasts were excellent.

I thought the spa was included in the price of the stay but it wasn’t.

Not that modern inside but honestly you get everything you need. It is clean, not cold, relatively spacious room. Breakfast is good. There was enough to choose from. Location is super good. Close to port, old town and railway station. Super helpful and friendly personal - A huge PLUS!

Negative comment on scrambeled eggs-looked like from powder rather than real..... Please do not show photos od swimming pool for Express hotel !! I feel cheated, as I was asked to pay additionaly!!

Studied in Tallinn 15 years ago, the city changed a lot. Hotel got a great deal for a week stay. I was not sure about the harbor "sadama" location but found out that´s the best for reaching city center and amazing connection to the airport, new town "Lennusadama" and Balti Jaam. Room was comfortable with all the standards. A bit small but comfy. The hightlight of our stay was breakfast. Always made our days. Fish plates for breakfast? For us strange but addictive. Making ice cream and waffles made our kid busy, got our 5 minutes to eat. Very nice and well performing staff. Big discount for a spa in the hotel next door.

Some manners from soviet times from one breakfast lady (great performer but bad acting in the front line). They put a new floor in spa (it´s a hotel next door) with extreme slippery. No fridge in the room = many people put a bag with food outside the window that made the hotel look funny from exterior.

Breakfast was good. Location is very good, near old city. Room temprature was very good - (outside was something about 25-28 C) and inside was very pleasant. Very big bathroom! Quiet. Don`t be afraid of parking options, there is Europark on harbord side - 6 EUR for 24 hours in 2023 summer. So it`s car friendly place :)

Room was little bit to small for 3 people, But since we only needed place where to sleep and shower that wasn`t big isue. in 2023 there is lot of construction around - sometimes is hard to find best route(but there wasn`t any disturbing noises)

The breakfast was great. A lot to choose from and tasty. My two kids can be picky but they both found bread, fresh fruit and yoghurt they were excited about. We also enjoyed the location, we walked to old town and around Tallinn every day. Playground not far away. The beds were comfortable and it was very clean. I can say much about the service since we barely had any interaction with the staff during our stay. I would recommend Tallink Express, value for money.

We didn’t appreciate that lack of air conditioning in the room. It was 32 degrees Celsius outside and although we had the drapes pulled down all day and window open at night it was way too hot in the room.

I am staying in this hotel frequently when I am in Tallinn. I like it best due to comfort and value for money. As usually, the stay was good. Perfect breakfast, clean and nice room. Quite comfortable bed.

Wifi was very bad, hard to connect to work. Here definately needed the improvement. Also, I found uncomfortable the moment that i need to walk to near by Conference hotel for check-in and check-out, especially in the morning when inner door was closed due to breakfast time and I needed to walk outside, under winterly rain :( After Covid times Express do not have anymore its own reception unfortunately. And also no anymore restaurant possibility for dinner, its closed. It was quite expensive with small menu, but still with possibility to have dinner onsite.

It is fantastically located and still good value, the rooms (apart from the few on the street) are quiet as well. Electronic check in worked fine. The water in the shower was good and hot. I appreciated that they allowed late check out, it made life easier.

I have stayed here many times over the years and this is the first time I noticed that it’s getting a bit tired. There is some wear and tear in common areas. The room was decent, but also the toilet roll holder in the room was broken. I noticed that in the 10 days I was there nobody cleaned the elevator walls as they had the same handprints all over them (metal walls). We had to go and find more towels, as the room booked for 2 initially came with towels only for 1, but we did get them.

There was a initial problem with the room, not enough single beds! We were moved to a more suitable room without any complications. The breakfast was great, plenty of choice and was continually replenished. Location is excellent being a short walk from the ferry terminal, and quite close to the old town.

Maybe coffee making facilities in the room, and perhaps more info on local things to do. Oh! And discount for English travellers!
