The staff in particular were fabulous and very helpful
The only downside for me was no breakfast in the area. Australians like to get up to cereal, toast and fruit or a cooked breakfast before touring. But on the upside, the lovely staff made sure there were croissants and jam for me once they realised and John cooked me eggs one morning

Amazing dinner at the hotel’s restaurant. Fairly close to Metro - just an easy walk through the park (even with a suitcase)
No toiletries in the bathroom at all. No breakfast or even coffee - restaurant closed in the mornings and no tea/coffe making facilities in the room. Single room is tiny.

Charming "pub on the corner" type of building, with nice neighbourhood. Close to main attractions and the city centre. At the edge of beautiful park.
No option for the proper breakfast, like eggs. Only croissants. But good coffee though.

it was a budget hotel but everything was as expected. Rooms were clean albeit basic and a bit small, but that was fine.
Arrived early and could not leave baggage so had to carry that around until check in at 14.00. receptionist/bar statff not that friendly when we asked about leaving baggage

The location was fantastic, right beside the basilica! However it is quite a distance to the center but with e-scooters that‘s not a big deal. :)

Sunday checkout cannot be done at 7 am, only at 9 am, despite what is written in the elevator. Maybe worth updating the message.
