NH Collection Brussels Centre

Top location, very clean, great comfort and excellent breakfast. Staff at the breakfast was very friendly and we genuinely enjoyed it.

The worst check in ever. We waited almost half an hour to do our check in. There were plenty of people people on reception and only one quy was actually doing the job. The other corworked distracted him all the time making it take longer to check in. Only when I escalated our waiting, additional girl came our to help with the job.

The staff were absolutely amazing on the desk and in the foyer. The lady who we assumed was the manager on the breakfast buffet, was much more professional and helpful. There was lots of choice for breakfast and the food was brilliant quality. The hotel looks very fancy and inviting and when we reported our hotel cards didn't work, they gave us new types of cards to try out - by the way we had no problems with the new versions at all. The coffee machine in our room was a great bonus.

The beds were very hard so we had bad back pain each morning. Every night there were drunk people screaming, fighting and singing outside in the early hours which meant we had even less sleep. The male staff upstairs in the breakfast buffet just gossiped loudly and rarely put their masks over their mouth and never their nose. They also refused to speak in English with us, which we assumed was because of their level. Guests would come into the breakfast buffet without masks and go and get food and nobody reinforced the policy of wearing one.

the location is very central. walking distance from most things in Brussels center. Also right next to the metro station. Front office staff where helpful, friendly and informative. Breakfast was super delicious with big variety. The hotel is safe and nice

our room was on the side of the street was noisy. Our kids room with inner courtyard view was quite. The room has no space for our clothes, minimum storage facility which made it a little uncomfortable for us. The bathroom also needs renovation. the door wood from the inside is a mess. The pillows were uncomfortable despite ordering extra pillows but their quality is below par.

Nice big bedroom and bathroom with separate bath and shower. Loved having a fridge in the room for our water etc.

Our bedroom was right underneath the restaurant (8006) which meant every morning and night we heard the scraping of chairs and tables being moved and heels clip clopping on the floor above. It didn't ruin our stay but could for someone else especially if you're a light sleeper and didn't get the opportunity to lie in or have a siesta. The rooftop bar was disappointing, felt shabby and a bit unsafe. Cocktails were awful too and as this one of the factors as to why I picked the hotel, it was even more disappointing 😔

Lovely 3 night stay. Facilities very good. Breakfast outstanding, superb selection of everything, juices, cereals, breads/buns, cold meats, fruit and eggs of your preference freshly cooked. Concierge was very helpful and pleasant. Reception Staff at check in, this lady was very professional and helpful, provided me with a map of the city and gave me helpful hints of where to go, where to eat etc Would most definitely stay here again and most definitely recommend for a stay. Location about 8 minute easy walk to the main square.

Internal room lacked natural light. Not a complaint, just an observation.

My stay started with a warm welcome from the Russian speaking ladies at the front desk. I got advice on where to go and how to get to nearby towns. During my stay, I had a birthday and received a sweet gift and a handwritten postcard (thank you Alina!) It was really nice and enjoyable considering I was traveling alone and was happy to get a personal touch and attention. The breakfast was great too (coffee, omelette, bread, sweets were perfect) I loved the terrace and the view! The room had a coffee machine and I liked it too.

Now for the cons. Housekeeping was useless. They didn’t wash my cups, just rinsed it slightly and put it back to the shelf. There was no toothbrush even though I asked for it and housekeeping lady came and said something in French and disappeared without providing it. The room needs renovation. Right away, really. It's so old and used. Furniture stained and cracked.

Wasn't familiar with the NH Collection (learned on last trip the chain I usually stay with was in a really rough area of town) so this was a great surprise. From the moment we arrived -- lobby to front desk to room -- we were impressed: friendly, knowledgeable staff, spotless environment, comfortable room. One of the best breakfast buffets I've ever experienced with the option to dine on the open-air roof. Convenient location surrounded by shopping, dining, more with the historic old city just steps away. Short cab ride to/from central train station. I would absolutely stay here again. Though all the staff was great, want to single-out Fernando: Super helpful and never without a smile!

Other than a mix-up on beds when we arrived (needed two twins, not one queen), there were really no downsides to our stay. Might prefer a location slightly closer to the city center so if I were to return would look at one of the other NH properties.

The hotel is in the city centre, very near to everything. The room was very clean and spacious.

The booking was for 3 people. We were surprised to be told, when we went for our check in, that there will be a further delay, as the room was not prepared for 3 people, but 2. The receptionist apologised and offered us the breakfast for free. When we actually went into the room, only a double bed was made up. A couple of hours afterwards, the door of our room opens up with no warning. It was the staff, who had come to prepared the third bed. Of course, no one had mentioned the free breakfast again.

The hotel staff went above and beyond to make the stay extra special. They help me arrange a small surprise for my girlfriend for her birthday, made excellent suggestions for purchasing flowers and helped making sure the flower were in the room prior to our arrival. The staff arrange for some sweets and even wrote a handwritten note congratulating my girlfriend on her birthday. This was really sweet and it showed that the customer service here is top class ! Besides that, the check in?out process was nice and quick, Andrea from reception provided us with a city map and gave amazing recommendations on things to see and try. Again - amazing customer service. We were given breakfast to go due to an early check out, witch was also very nice.

I found nothing to dislike during my visit. Everything met my expectations :)

Three things stood out to me significantly about this property: the gym (any workout plan you are following the equipment is here—awesome!); the breakfast (any diet you are following you should be able to find something delicious here, and fresh); the staff. Every staff member we spoke to was courteous, professional, and very helpful. The location is of course ideal for exploring Brussels and the parking garage around the corner was very easy to keep a car. I absolutely do not care to stay in hotels anywhere but I would for the first time happily stay in this one again.

Construction on the exterior prevented us from enjoying our balcony.
