Hotel Hubert Grand Place

Great location. For a capital city a decently sized room. Quiet - good windows and carpeting in the hallways, coffee machine with GOOD coffee, friendly staff, very good bed and good use of available space. And the lifts require a room key so relatively secure. Loads of towels (far more than we needed) but more importantly good quality and large. Nice bed linen as well. Magnified and lit makeup mirror (great getting old and going blind).

While I appreciate carpeting in the hallways to minimize noise, I personally think that carpeting in the rooms is a health offence. The self check in/out seems to have a lot of glitches, not just for us but for others too. Not really a problem as the staff dealt with it all anyway and in a friendly and efficient manner - but if it doesn`t work then why have it?

The room was facing the bus station and the street was busy till midnight.

The hotel is in a very good location, there was coffee in the room and additional coffee and tea downstairs, in the hotel lobby. The bed was very comfortable and the room was warm and cozy. The check-in can be performed by the guest, which can make everything easy and there is a breakfast place which you can access from the hotel which has a very good selection of food.

The room had a rather strange layout with no desk and through some parts of the ceiling, including in the bathroom you could see the ventilation system, which can be a little odd, but not something bad in itself.

My stay at Hotel Hubert Grand Place was very enjoyable. The hotel is well situated and convenient for exploring the city on foot. The rooms are cozy and tidy, although mine had no natural light, which is understandable given the hotel's design. The room lacked a desk, but the lobby was spacious and inviting, with a spot where I could work and mingle. The breakfast met my expectations and was adequate and reasonable. I also appreciated the constant availability of coffee and tea in the lobby, which was a unique feature for a coffee lover like me.

I appreciate the friendliness of the staff, but when ordering something at the bar, it’s not very pleasant to not be looked in the face and to have to deal with something on the side. It doesn’t come across as professional. Additionally, I’ve noticed long hair on the towels in the bathroom. A little attention could have avoided this oversight. This kind of interaction can be interpreted as rude towards the country you come from.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The central location made exploring the city easy, and the staff's warm welcome added a personal touch to the experience. Clean and comfortable rooms, coupled with excellent service, make this hotel a top choice for any traveler.

While I appreciated many aspects of my stay at this hotel, I found the pillows to be a bit too firm for my liking, and the sheets seemed a bit outdated. Despite these minor issues, the overall experience was positive, with a great location and welcoming staff contributing to a comfortable stay.

I loved the location of the hotel. It was central and easy to reach, especially in the evening. The room I had was tastefully furnished, with a comfortable bed and a wonderful little balcony with the view of the street. I particularly appreciated the coffee machine in my room. The hotel has a wonderful lobby and a bar. It even disposes of quiet booths for those wishing to work. The night of my check-in I was offered a beer on the house and that was a wonderful gesture. It also has a wonderful gym, but I did not have the time to use it, since I was there for work. I loved staying at this hotel and will certainly be back.

The staff were great and very approachable. The check in was quick and they were always willing to help with luggages and the complimentary coffee/tea station. There is a healthy food cafe in the ground floor which is convinced enough as the hotel does not have breakfast options. The ground floor decor was nicely done and very cozy. The room was of good size and the water pressure in the shower was great. The water refilling station in each floor is a good way to save from plastic use. The daily tidying up even if we didn’t ask for room service was also nice. Also, location is superb! Central station is nearby for metro and inter-railing services. City center is basicaly just 2 blocks away.

There were no toiletries like lotion and dental kit. The ceiling of the bathroom has some leak and white discolouration in the corners.

Hotel Hubert is a great experience as soon as you walk through the front door. You walk into a brand which knows exactly what it is selling. The architecture, decoration and friendly staff make your stay really lovely. The hotel is minutes walk for the Grand Place, Galleries Royales Saint Hubert and the fantastic Wolf food market. The disco lift is a real winner! :)

The room size was slightly too small, with no where to place your suitcase and it would be great to have a few more hooks to hang up your drying towels - this would help with the eco theme running through the hotel.

Location is unbelievably central. Plenty of parking options or public transport. Whilst there is no onsite cafe, there is a bar and an evening snack option. Breakfast can be obtained by the "integrated" independent cafe, or a short walk to a wealth of other options. The welcome was lovely and genuine. The room was quiet, clean and tidy. And I love to see a location which embraced technology to enhance the stay.

Very hard to say, as there were no problems or issues. But if I really had to pick something, bathroom a little tired and whilst there's a Nespresso coffee machine, getting some fresh supplies was a little tricky!

Superb location, less than 5 minutes from Central station and about 5 to Grand place. The rooms were small (standard city hotel though!) but really nice. The bed was delightfully comfortable, bathroom was lovely (great shower), toiletries, hairdryer and free coffee. The bedside lights are a brilliant idea (they flip out and turn on, no feeling for switches in the dark), I wish all hotels had them! Free tea and coffee in the foyer and still and sparkling water fountains on the corridor of each floor! Staff were also very nice and helpful

The only negative I can rustle up is that there were a few stains on the carpet, but the room was clean
