Progress Hotel

My room (double room with a balcony) was very nice, comfortable and clean. The location is perfect for both the ERC offices at Covent Garden, and the shopping areas, with great restaurants nearby and only a 15 minute walk to la Grande Place. The fridge in the room meant I could buy chilled drinks from Carrefour and save money on purchasing single cans from a cafe during the day. Staff were friendly and helpful and check-in was easy. The fitness suite had a good range of cardio machines.

The power points nearest the bed are controlled by the main lightswitch. So it is impossible to a. charge your ipad while reading it in bed at night, or b. have the main light off and the bedside lamp on. This really needs changing. The bed was fine and nicely made up, but could have been a bit higher quality mattress.

The hotel is located next to a major bus, tram and metro station to get around in Brussels by public transport, but also well in walking distance to the city centre to go to the many shops, eateries and attractions. My room was facing an open-view backside of the building and overall very quiet. The staff was friendly and helpful.

Although the room with the breakfast buffet is spacious and well designed, the many tables there left a somewhat crowded impression at busy hours.

Just 6-7 minute walk from Brussels North station - easily accessible from the airport or from other connections. Close to the Roger metro station. Super friendly staff. Nice building with open lobby area. Large breakfast area.

Room was always a little bit cold and heating it up took time. This caused also the constant noise of the heater in the room.

Very good location, next to subway and walking distance from the city center. Clean and spacious rooms, good facilities, comfy beds and brand new equipment, walls soundproof and good breakfast with good coffee. Staff helpful and kind. You should try it for Brussels city center! They allowed me for a late checkout (+1 hour) with no extra charge.

The room were not ready at 15:00 for check in and in the reception they could not give us a valid reason just asked to wait. There was other people waiting for their room also and were getting nervous. They could not manage the arrivals and the loads of tourists. There is a common reception with other two hotels and the staff tries its best but the rooms they have to handle are many.

Internet was really good. Staff was really super nice. I needed a late check out because I had a business meeting during lunch and they did not charge me any extra, even though that service is tabled. Location is great, right in front of the bus stop of the bus that comes from airport. The walk from the hotel to the city center and etc, is very nice, and fast.

I did not like three small things: 1- they never answer your messages in the booking app. I had to search for their email address (but they answer fast from that email address). 2- after I requested the late check out and talked about that at least 4 times with 4 different staff, they called my room at 12 pm to inform me of check out...interrupting my business meeting. 3- breakfast is ok, but not great. But these are all very small things, everything was great and very nice for the price.

Great and rather quiet location, 5 minutes from the train station Noord, 1-minute walk to the metro and bus stations. Reception is open 24/7 with great personnel. Breakfast is good. The rooms are very clean and are being cleaned up every day. Considering nowadays energy and environment crisis I don't have the option to tell the staff that I don't need the change of towels. But I can't say it is a bad thing, so I write it here.

Great location, it is just 50 meters away from the Rogier station and 600 meters away from the Noord train station. Rooms are cleaned every day. Breakfast is good.

The shower hose was leaking and the electrical socket in the bathroom wasn't working. That is why I rated 8 instead of 10.

The hotel has a good position for Covent Garden. Personal is kind, rooms are clean, with everyday cleaning. Coffee-maker in the room. I did not take breakfast, however, there are many places around for a light breakfast.

Rooms are very noisy, there is some ventilation that goes all the time. I could not sleep at night.

The hotel is nice and the personnel is always very polite room is warm and quite I find it a little expensive for what they offer but again this is brussels i love that they were cleainig the room every day and how safe it is

not proper sink, was not working, somebody can always check it after each visitor if everything still works.. same with the shampoon in the bath and coffee maker.. not working, problems with one lamp also, strange noise and very much "used" painting in the walls and carpet in the room so you feel like nobody cares how it looks.....but nice comfortable and clean bedings
