Oxford Suites Pismo Beach

Room size was great,, breakfast was good …however my sister room was next door to me and when we checked in her room smelled like dog ..my allergies and her husband allergies went off right away , I couldn’t go to her room for are two day stay. Maybe the hotel can designate one side or sections for animals.. other than that 👍🏾to the hotel

Selective rooms for people with dogs..think about the next guess that will occupy the room after , the room was clean but the smell was terrible , and a guess coming after like me could not have stayed in that room that my sister had… (because of my allergies)

everything was great except for 2 things: I booked the reservation through booking.com. I asked hotel directly by email if they accept military or AAA discount. I was told by text on day of arrival that those discounts cannot be applied because it was done through a 3rd party. if we directly reserved , they could give it to us. That was a bummer. so beware everyone to do your reservation directly with hotel. secondly, no housekeeping was available for our stay. For the price of our 2 day stay ($750) should have covered housekeeping.

We picked Oxford Suites because of the facility. We came a few years ago and stayed here without knowing anything about Oxford Suites. We loved 🥰 the rooms very spacious! The bed was comfortable! We loved the breakfast, it was awesome! The pool was really heated last time, more like Luke warm this time, but our grandchildren still loved it! The staff extremely friendly and helpful! It was a great celebration 🎉 for our family! Great location. We went to Monarch Grove, Dinosaur Park, Klondike pizza,Avila Farms and Pismo Pier and flew kites. We appreciate all of you! If we come back to Pismo we will stay here!

I liked the room, it is close to outlet mall right next door is Denny’s and California market offers a plaza of places to eat. The staff was accommodating to put us on a first floor room since the elevator was broken. The breakfast is amazing!

There are only two things I didn’t like about the property; The shower I was really excited about it has a rain shower. I never have had one before. I went to shower and we only had cold water. no matter which way we turned the nozzle the shower was cold. it was cold outside and I came home with a cold. We were all settled in and didn’t want to have to move rooms at 930pm. Next day shower water was still cold. room 125. The other thing was the elevator didn’t work, I prefer rooms upstairs with a veil.

It was nice. Liked how the sitting area with couch was separated with a wall and a pocket door from bedroom. And both rooms had TVs. Nice that there’s a dog park area. Breakfast was very nice!

Few things were ok, the heater was noisy when it’s on, and made it harder to sleep. There was a weird machinery on the counter in our room, and upon examining, it was a room deodorizer?? like from 1980s, did not understand why that was there or if it was left by previous people. Bathroom looked little bit in need of repair. There was paint peeling from the door and door frame .

This hotel is perfect for families with dogs! We stayed at a one bedroom suite and the room has ample space for two people and a mid to large sized dog. I like their dining table and two chairs in the living room. The table is big enough for our takeout dinner with three to four dishes. Breakfast was great. They have homemade style hot breakfast and the menu was slightly different each day we stayed. The best part is that they have outdoor sitting for breakfast and we were able to take our dog with us when eating. Perfect location; easy access to high way and only a few min drive away from Pismo Beach. Walkable to grocery stores.

The bed isn’t the best quality bed but okay. Walls may not be soundproof enough; our dog barked each time when people passing by outside. Not the cleanest hotel we stayed. Appreciate that they have a fenced dog run, but the drinking water in it was stagnant and very dirty; maybe better have it removed.

This hotel was so much better than we expected. The staff were so friendly and helpful. There was even the offer of a free shuttle bus to the pier. Facilities were great with a free drink at happy hour and a wonderful breakfast for free! The room was very big with separate lounge area. Some of the cupboards looked a bit worn but it really didn’t matter. We really enjoyed this hotel. More impressed than we thought we would be.

Check-in was great; friendly staff. Room was spacious and I liked having the window out to see the courtyard. Breakfast was fantastic.

WiFi was terrible. I didn't get service in my room - most of the time it didn't connect. I had to ask the check-in desk to reset the router and it would work for a few minutes and then get disconnected. And my cell service wasn't great in the area (AT&T) so really needed WiFi to work better.

Very grateful for the complimentary tea/coffee in the lobby, in the room and in the breakfast hall as a big drinker of both. The free breakfast provided with the booking was okay. Good variety of typical breakfast options, including cereal, toast, scrambled eggs, protein like bacon, potatoes and pancakes. I kept gushing over how much I loved the pancakes.

Overall cleanliness of the rooms. Tables and countertops could use a better wipe.

We loved how spacious, clean and safe the room felt. The hotel also felt very safe and we were very comfortable with the location, and the staff. The facilities where beautiful and kept very clean. There was always staff around cleaning, painting and upkeeping the hotel. The breakfast was so nice and refreshing to have after not having it due to covid for the past couple trips we had taken, and they breakfast staff were always kind and welcoming in the morning and the food was really good.

We were told that there wouldn't be any cleaning due to covid and we were fine with that. We came back one day to find that our room had been cleaned, bed made, trash taken out and towels replaced. We were grateful for the cleaning but a little uneasy because we didn't know someone would be coming in. They also took our bathroom floor mat and didn't replace it, as well as the washcloths, they were taken and not replaced with fresh ones. The microwave in the room also seemed like it was going to catch fire when we tried to make popcorn. It made an awful sound and smelled like burning electrical wires.
