Avila Village Inn

We loved the access to the Bay club, and hotel bikes which we could use (without extra cost) and ride into Avila Beach each day. The front desk was always friendly and helpful. Our room was made up every day with fresh towels and a freshly made bed after a day at the olive farm and shopping in town. A great stay!

The hot tub bathtub is a little outdated (too much water to fill it up!), and we could have used a few more places to hang our towels in the bathroom, and an extra bar of soap.

Best part of staying at the Avila Village Inn was the décor. The "Prairie" style furniture and fixtures were amazing It was like living in a museum. Oddly, the staff has no clue to the value of their surroundings. The big draw is the athletic club attached to the property.

The price point was off target. The rooms are ALL oddly shaped. Someone had fun sticking in walls in weird positions, there was not one 90 degree angle in the room.

Location was good, not right on the beach but beautiful just the same and interesting with the other businesses in the general area. Cafe on site was a nice add. Desk staff was wonderful and gave us a fabulous dinner restaurant recommendation.

We had a king room with the hot tub. A pair of men's shorts and swim trunks were in the room behind a chair near the door to the spa. Not a huge deal but kinda yucky.

Beautiful large room with a very comfortable bed. A walking trail literally runs next to the hotel which you can take to the beach. Staff was very friendly and helpful. We booked us last minute and I was looking for something a little less expensive, and I was so pleased to find this little gem.

The screen to our patio got stuck, but a staff member immediately came in and fixed it for us.

The individuals at the front desk were very personable. I might be bias, but we started talking about Star Wars, Disney and owning the nerd part of ourselves. Just that initial interaction made a huge impact. Then the room…perfect! Everythjng was so nice!! The spa was a bit hotter than i would have wanted…but it didn’t stop me from using it!! The whole thing was just perfect.

Spacious. Hot tub.

Breakfast even if it’s really basic. But nothing?? Staff was ok. Some were helpful. No one was over the top friendly. Seemed bored with their job and bored talking with me. I’m a boring old man, fair enough. But also a nice guy who can usually engage people in conversation. Not at this place.

A hidden gem! Lovely property inside and out. Nicely appointed rooms, comfy beds, a great main area with fireplace to relax with friends, and a nature path to bike, walk or jog. The staff is warm, welcoming and informative. Full health club and spa with outdoor pool and tennis courts, all well kept and very clean! Schedule a facial with Jen or a massage with Ann, both excellent professionals who melted my stress away.

A restaurant would be a welcome addition, for guests and locals.

We stayed at Avilla Inn for one night in the middle of our camping trip to refresh and recharge. We had a wonderful time there. Staff is very helpful and kind. The rooms are gorgeously old and well-maintained. Hot tubs in the rooms are heavenly and clean. We loved our stay and we will certainly plan to return in the future.

Good location. Liked the bike path to beach and golf Liked access to resort but would have liked the choice of whether to use it (pay for it) or not. The room was very nice for the price. Liked the charger hookup for our car

Shower was outdated and hard to get into for a short person.

The amenities next door are great; yoga, massage, tennis, large pool, jacuzzi and a cafe! Spacious and clean boutique hotel, large bathroom/shower, comfy beds, romantic fireplace, bike rentals for the nature trails, beautiful lobby with tea/coffee, and super friendly staff. Stayed an extra night since our stay was so pleasant 😊
