Mini House Aonang

Beautiful place, quiet, safe, and central. 10 min walk straight to AoNang Beach. Clean design of hotel, lovely grounds. On a small hilltop, cabs and tuks tuks typically don’t go all the way up to the front door, so you’ll have to walk but it’s basically the same as an uphill driveway. Breakfast is additional but includes made to order espresso drinks. Staff is helpful, available 24/7. Laundry service on site for 50baht/kg. Would stay again enjoyed it!

As a whole I thought it was a wonderful little hotel. THe rooms were beautiful and spacious. The bed was really comfortable and the design of the building made you feel like you were further away from the city than you actually were.

The only thing that bugged me was being so close to the main area. You can't hear it when you're in your room which is great, but the next time I would stay in Ao Nang, it would be further away from main street as I prefer the more quiet areas. However, this is not a negative on the hotel. Overall its a great place to stay in Ao Nang.

I loved staying at Mini House: - the location is pretty good (7-10 min to the beach) allowing it to be quiet for sleeping. It is near to the main Ao Nang avenue with a 7/11 next door, tour operators, shops, restaurants, you name it - the staff is incredibly helpful, smiling, profressional and friendly (especially the girl working at the reception) - the rooms are big and clean and the beds are comfortable. I also loved the wood in the furniture - the balconies are great for a night sitting (just watch out for the mosquitoes, apply your lotion/spray !) - the bathrooms are great - the architecture of the whole building and the view on the jungle/nature - the little stand at the reception full of tour operators brochures. Don't hesitate to ask the hotel for booking a tour or even a transfer to the airport (it's the same price and you have their guarantee! I wish I did for my airport transfer cause mine was late by 1h !!)

I wish it was nearer to the beach (but then again you wouldn't enjoy the quietness as much)

Cute and modest boutique hotel, tucked away from the bustling Aonang. The rooms were simple and well styled with midcentury furniture. All of the staff were very kind and always super helpful and patient. The hotel is also conveniently located, about a 7-10 min walk yo Aonang beach, where you can catch long boats to nearby islands. They’ll give you beach towels for the day and we loved their americanos, which we had every morning before setting out for the day.

The location of the hotel was excellent....very tastefully done ambience and even though we were 15 MTR away from main road there was calm n quiet atmosphere at the hotel... beautiful fishes in a pond n water flowing giving it a serene feel. The staff at reception was very helpful. We checked in early and they greeted us with a welcoming and refreshing drink and promised to take care of our bags while we went looking exploring around. There was a 7-11 just down along with a massage parlor which was very convenient. There were plenty of restaurants n medical facilities too on the main road and the beach was within walking distance. Our taxi did not arrive as we had to check out early and the girl at the reception helped us in organising a taxi for the airport at 5 in the morning. We would love to come back and stay with them again.

Beautiful hotel just off the main strip in Ao Nang, and only a 10 min walk to the beach. Right next to a 7/11 so very easy to get snacks and drinks. Beautiful Koi Carp pond! Room was luxury and very spacious.

Toilet was blocked from day one, and by the third day it was unusable and they said the plumber was away that day. Created a smell in my room and I had to use an outdoor toilet. USB charger did not work in my room so could not charge my portable charger.

Beautiful small, family run hotel, well maintained, nicely decorated rooms. Back from the main road so quiet (although an adjacent building is having construction work done during the day) Comfy bed, hot shower, hair dryer, air conditioning worked well. Arranged taxi to airport for the same price as on the street. The breakfast seemed good value at 150 baht (we don't eat breakfast)

Only one chair and no Table on the balcony. When I asked for an extra chair, was told to take the one from inside the room. The hotel was not full. Have to request room clean the previous day. Fine as not necessary every day but get water with room clean. Even after clean, had to ask for toilet roll. Only one provided for 5 night stay. The ice maker on the fridge was totally iced up so had to request ice from reception.

Great hotel just 20 minute walk from the beach in Ao Nang. Close to restaurants, shops, massage shops and the good pubs playing live music. Set back a few meters from the main street it is sheltered enough from the street noise, but central enough to be super convenient. Greta friendly staff, modern rooms with lots of power outlets plus usb charging outlet. Coffee/tea making facilities plus the usual 2 bottles of water. Extra bath towels for the beach, slippers and umbrellas provided for our convenience - a nice touch. Loved the long sturdy wooden bench for the suitcases, it’s great when you can leave them open like that and can access comfortably when you need something. Good value for money, great location, great staff, we will definitely return to Mini House Ao Nang.

Can't think of anything

Nice oasis in the centre of Ao Nang. The inner garden and the rooms have a great relaxing feel. It is very clean, although you have to ask at the reception if you want your room made up for the next day.

The outer units of the air conditioners are quite loud, some of the nights I had to use earplugs. The staff at the reception is friendly and helpful but some of them speaks very little English so sometimes I had to wait for the evening shift to discuss what I needed.

I loved the location, it’s a hidden gem. Right off the Main Street and about ten minutes’ walk from the beach. The staff were absolutely lovely, the room was as expected and wonderful and the hotel itself had such a lovely calming aesthetic. Easily my favourite place to stay so far in my four city trip through Thailand.

I have absolutely nothing bad to say.
