Hotel Churchill

the location is very close to the center where you can walk to reach your destination. The hotel is in a quiet place and nearby facilities such as supermarkets and pharmacies and the main branded shopping road. there are also nearby halal restaurants. The staff were very friendly and helpful. They take customer requests seriously. The breakfast is light and healthy and The water is Genève is drinkable. Overall the hotel is very clean and comfortable.

Your need to request some of the facilities as they are not available in the rooms or bring your own stuff such as kettle and iron. The lift is old and small fit for 2 people.

The employees were friendly at the check in/out and breakfast. The bed was comfy, it was at walking distance of the lake and Jet d’Eau. The transportation card was included and the front desk worker asked me if I wanted it. Breakfast had enough options for me, with some hot and cold food.

If you are a tall person, the bed could be a little too small in height, but the width was perfect for me. The room and bathroom were on the smaller side, but for the price in Switzerland I had worse (ex. The bathroom could have been outside the room, it wasnt the case here.)

The hotel is conveniently located at the city center. It offers tidy rooms for an affordable price. Staff are very friendly.

The building is a bit dated.

I very much enjoyed my week spent at Hotel Churchill. To be honest, I was somewhat concerned by some of the reviews, but my concerns were misplaced. It is comfortable, exceedingly well located and the staff was excellent. As well, it is well priced for Geneva.

2 small complaints 1. WIFI was spotty 2. It really would be great to have coffee/tea making capacity in the rooms

We arrived in Geneva in the evening from Florence. It was a long day but we were greeted by our friendly reception. Quick check in process. The room was nice and warm especially during the winter time. The location is walking distance to the shopping city centre and to the Quai Gustave-Ador, Very nice Iranian Restaurant next door with good food. Make sure you make a reservation before you go to any restaurant for dinner. Chocolate lovers be warned cause you will be tempted 😅

Just the lift can only accommodate 2 people with M size luggage.

Location was central, but not prime, which was fine for our needs. Staff were helpful. Check in and out times were generous. For the price in Geneva it was good value, with breakfast included. Breakfast was simple but included everything eggs, yoghurt, muesli, fruit etc. coffee was good.

We got a bit hot, but could open the window. Nothing bad to report really, a good choice on a lower budget.

Excellent location, literally minutes from the fountain and in a bustling area with great food options. Walking distance of main attractions apart from the diplomatic and UN buildings. Staff were super helpful, we checked out early as we wanted to explore for the day before our flight and didn't want to have to come back to check out, we went back late afternoon and they were super helpful with letting us pray, and use the facilities. Throughout our stay the staff were polite, friendly and helpful. The brekky was a bit pricey so we went to a cafe, I forget the name but if you come out of the hotel, turn left and the immediately right, so the lake is behind you, you will see a bolangerie that has the most amazing sandwiches and tarts.

Nothing really, great value for money!! As standard no tea and coffee making facilities in the room, however again a massive positive, in the evening they gave us everything in the lobby to make our tea as we like it.

Great location, clean room.

This is not a 4-star hotel as stated on booking.com, but 3-star. This needs to be amended! The rooms are tiny small and no 4-star amenities (slippers, bathhrobe, kettle, free coffee etc). The wifi is extremely poor, if it even connects. The breakfast was ok, although literally no vegetables (no tomatoes, cucumbers etc).

Location was unbeatable - a minute from the Geneva lake and found and the large La Grange Park. Clean and spacy room. Beautiful bathroom with bath tub. Very friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast was decent.

I wish there was a water boiler in the room for convenience, as I needed hot water to take my medication. Otherwise, I liked everything about the hotel.

I was allowed to check in earlier which was good as my flight arrived in the morning. When I checked in the manager was on duty at reception which worked very well for me. He oriented me about food outlets around and gave a generous discount on breakfast from the hotel because I stayed many nights. It really came in handy.

Room is small, bathroom is very small. Wifi signal is weak, I was in the second floor it worked well for me in the first two days after that it was a struggle.
