Discovery Suites Manila, Philippines

Have had the breakfast on a previous stay and rate it as very good. For me - it is all about the staff at this hotel. It is my second stay and I am going back shortly - they help make things easier (storing luggage, making sure I know where I am headed, arranging taxis & tours, etc.) The fridge and microwave in each room I have seen makes longer stays a bit easier, have seen one with a full kitchen: no food smells!!!!

The facilities can seem a wee bit dated though the rooms are quite spacious, and the four I have seen all have lovely, large bathrooms. Not right in the center of urban and cultural activities, however I enjoy this uncomplicated environment with good dining and shopping options nearby.

I have stayed at this Hotel for almost 2 weeks and team was consistently genuinely helpful, kind and professional. If I had any questions or enquiries this was actioned instantly. Gym facility is amazing and very well maintained, I did not have a chance to use pool so unfortunately, I am not able to comment on it, however it looked well maintained as well. My room 1908 was very quiet even though it was facing the main street (Podium Mall Side). Room service is delicious. Amazing staff, well maintained hotel, superb location hence next time I am in Manila I will 100% try to stay with them.

I like everything, accessible location, many options of family activities, gym, swimming pool, dining, salon, malls and coffee shops. The rooms are very beautiful with practical furnishing and complete basic dining and entertainment appliance. Toilets are all very clean and smells luxury. Best all of is the superb customer service of the staffs specially the lobby staff in the concierge, the bell boys, and security personnels.

The room service cleaners they're a bit stiff and rude how they response. Needs more customer service training.

The hotel staff are all nice which makes our stay comfortable. We also appreciate the security guards who are always courteous, they always check if we have not left any valuables on the cab/grab car we ride to. Special thanks to Ms Crystal who made our anniversary special by giving us a delicious cake.

The internet has no password which can affect the security of any device connected to it. The window curtains in the living room should have been a blackout curtain but other than that everything was perfect.

Stayed at Crowne Plaza for 3 days before coming to Discovery Suites… and to be honest, Discovery Suites felt more premium and better value for money than Crowne Plaza Galleria nearby. Staff were very welcoming and helpful! Bed, blanket and pillows were suppperrrr comfy. I had some of the best sleep ever. Room was spacious and felt relaxing everytime you come back after roaming around for the day. Location is perfect. Walk across the street to visit The Podium, walk a bit farther and its already SM Megamall or Robinsons Galleria for all of your shopping needs. Hungry late at night or early morning? Walk around the area like Emerald Ave for 24hr Dunkin Donuts, Army Navy, Yellow Cab Pizza or Mcdonalds. Its Perfectly Safe to walk even at 12am coz there are so many security guards around from the surrounding bldgs and also alot of nightshift call center agents so you dont feel scared. My kids loved the pool and there was also a heated jacuzzi.

Guess its the bldg age but the shower area gets pretty flooded so we had to turn the shower off and wait for the water to drain and only then turn the shower on again. Also, all of the power inputs were PH standard so u need a PH adaptor to use your 3 pin international adaptor for charging devices

all of the staff were nice and accommodating. they were able to grant my request for our room and my special request for my mom's bday even though it's subject for availability (which i totally understand). the suite was so nice, comfy and spacious, enough for my nieces to run and play around. the hotel was very near to the malls in ortigas (podium, megamall, shangrila). the bathroom was clean and spacious as well, heaters are working for both shower and faucet. the kitchen was big. it had a microwave, toaster, water heater, and a medium sized fridge. out of all the 1 bedroom suites i have stayed. this would prolly be the biggest. (i mean it's 70sq based on the desc) my only comment for the place is their couch. it was old and dirty. they should definitely buy a new one or hire someone to deep clean them. but overall we had a very pleasant stay and will definitely come back :))

The property location is really good. It’s at the center of everything. The management and staff are so courteous, friendly and are very professional in their dealings. We felt so comfortable during our stay. The room that was assigned to us was so clean, very comfortable for our group and complete with amenities you need. I would like to commend Lenny Bonalos, the executive housekeeper for doing an extra-mile to make our stay memorable. We will surely come back to stay at this property. Thank you.

The 3 Bedroom that we stayed in - Very spacious, we love how big all the rooms are. Even though there are signs of wear and tear on some of the furnitures, the room is very clean. Accommodating Staff - most of the staff are very friendly and easy to approach. They also let us use the wheelchair for a day for my mother-in-law. Location - it’s just a short walk away from The Podium and Megamall.

The parking, it’s the exact opposite of the spacious room we stayed in. Though, they offer valet parking which I should have considered when we arrived.

Our stay at Discovery Suites was excellent. Although it did not go without a hiccup, they made sure to take care of the problem right away. There was a problem with the air conditioning in the living area of our suite. They already had their Engineering folks in the suite trying to fix the issue when we checked in. They eventually had to replace the air conditioning unit which took a few hours. To make up for the inconvenience, they treated us to dinner with some pasta, pizza, chicken wings, and steak at 22 Prime. They even let us check out late the following day. The 3-bedroom suite was lovely. It was spacious, clean, and comfortable. All the staff were really nice and friendly. We are now huge fans of the Discovery brand. Discovery Shores is our favorite when in Boracay and now Discovery Suites when we need a place to stay in Metro Manila. Well done!

We opted to park at the mall across hotel because the parking at the hotel was a little tight for an SUV

I had a superb experience from check in with Annie up to check out with Charles. All of the staff were really courteous and pleasant, security guards, engineering, housekeepers, etc. They are so helpful in so many ways. I wish I had written all their names. I was welcomed with a banner and sweet treats in the room, that I felt so special. The one bedroom suite is spacious, bigger than most condos. Bed and pillows are comfy. And the kitchen is a great plus! I also like that they have washers and dryers on some floors for guests to use for free. Location is awesome! Just cross the street, and you’ll be at the Podium where there are plenty of restaurants to choose from. Breakfast buffet at the 5th floor has good selection of dishes too! Im looking forward to coming back.

The ac in our room was leaking but it was fixed immediately. Not a big deal.
