The hotel was well located and the staff were lovely. We loved looking over the church opposite. The room was comfortable and the hotel had that old world charm which we loved.. The free parking was very welcome as the whole town seems to have parking tolls.

Unfortunately the room was very hot but we couldn't open the windows at night due to the noise outside. If we were younger we may have joined them in the nightclub but because we were old fuddyduddies we just noticed the noise! We are from Australia so it was weird to be overheated in Ireland. Maybe a fan would have helped but it didn't worry us enough to request one!

I booked this accomodation literally last minute when I had an incident at my previous accommodation that led to a police report. I came in pretty upset and anxious and the man at reception who I believes name was Andrew - was an absolute sweet heart who helped me contact the police, check into my room and make sure I was ok. I felt safe and comfortable at this accomodation and would absolutely stay here again. Room was great and location was ideal! Lots of pubs around and staff is so incredibly friendly.

where to start. a weekend at the newgrange. the hotel is like a antique kinda feel but. very warm n friendly feel the staff could not be faulted. nothing was a problem from asking for a pot of tea to changing our room food was lovely and breakfast was so nice too. we were attending a concert in the solistice arts centre which is literally 5 min walk. we went to newgrange monument too which was 20 mins away ideal for Slane castle too

the beds need upgrading fairly hard but didn’t stop me from sleeping. the car park could really do with upgrade if your afraid of tight spots don’t enter it very narrow. plenty of parking on the roads and the fairgreen.

The staff were friendly and welcoming. The room was very spacious, warm and quiet. The bed was very comfortable and clean. The bathroom was big and the shower was excellent. I enjoyed my stay here. The price was also very reasonable, considering the amount of hotels that overcharge their customers these days. 👍😊

The car park is very small and tight for modern day cars. I found that it was nearly full, with only about 30 car park spaces in total. I found it very hard to manoeuvre around the corners when driving up or down the levels, and I scraped my car off the wall on the corner. The car park spaces are just enough to park the car into, and you have to squeeze to get out of the car. You are better off parking on the street, but the parking warden comes around at 9am in the morning to check for tickets. 😕

The staff were amazing and very accommodating and the location is very central and convenient. Free parking garage was super useful as well.

There is a huge difference between the newly renovated and the "old" rooms. Unfortunately they seem to be the same price. If possible, try to get a renovated room, as these are super in terms of cleanliness, comfort of beds etc. We had to switch to a new room because the dust/mildew caused my friend's asthma to act up.

The breakfast was good, the room was very clean and comfortable. The location is good there are a lot of places to eat and shops around the small town center. It was a comfortable drive to Dublin and surrounding sites. The staff was friendly, but pretty young so not great at explaining local points of interest or history.

The parking lot was very tight so you must be a pretty accomplished driver. It was a bit noisy above the street at night with the windows open.

Everything was as I expected. The on-site parking was why I chose to stay there.

The subterranean car park was a major issue. The ramps are quite narrow and the kerbs on them are ridiculously wide. I accessed the parking space reasonably easily on arrival. Leaving the next morning was a different story. I have run several Audi 8L saloons since 2014, these are large cars by all means but in over 120,000 miles in that time I have never damaged my car, ever. Until I tried to extricate myself from this underground garage. I could not get a sufficiently straight angle to approach the exit ramp due to cars parked opposite me. The result? I caught the driver's side door sill on the kerb of the down ramp, denting the metalwork and damaging a chrome strip. I was livid. Judging by the technicolour display of paint around this area, I am not alone.

Staff were professional, courteous and helpful. They kindly minded our baggage while we toured in the hours before we checked in. Hot breakfast was included in our price. It was complete with a variety of choices and kept us going for the entire morning.

We were clear at the end of the hallways, with some twists and turns, but at least it was ground floor. What else can you expect from older buildings in the middle of a city?

staff were lovely. really friendly and helpful. evening meal was lovely and great value.

I felt that there was little choice of alternative breakfast. continental maybe. that said there was plenty of choice for hot breakfast items so it certainly wouldn’t stop me from staying again. I also think a better system for getting into the property late at night. maybe a key pad. we were back very late after a wedding and stood outside on the street for a good while. again this would t out me off staying and the staff member who answered the door couldn’t have been nicer about it.

All the staff in the hotel were very friendly. Room was very comfortable and the breakfast was excellent. We had a meal and a few drinks in hotel one night which were very good. Good value for money.

Quite noisy in front. Although comfortable the room could do with a refurbishment and during our 4 night stay room was only cleaned once which was at our request. Entrance/exit to hotel a bit tight and sometimes exit blind when large vehicles parked out front.
