Room was very clean, nice bed, nice bathroom. Front desk, barista, cleaning staff were super nice. Great location, close to the university and TMC.

Our toilet had a leak, and it was hard to flush, had to hold down for a long time to ensure it flushed completely--time for an upgrade? The pool was lacking in towels, not stocked well. The two front doors had a pair of "automatic opening" doors, but two sets were broken, needed fixing. The front sidewalks had trash and it smelled bad, like fresh manure had been put on the gardens.

Fantastic location, wonderful view (one of the top floors), and a great room. Couldn't ask for a nicer room or bathroom. Totally great. Location is perfect for visiting Rice Univ. Only a very short walk. Really nice place. Will stay here again.

Breakfast. Let's talk about breakfast and I write this in dozens of reviews of American hotels. I travel extensively in Europe for work. I tend to stay at basic hotels (you know 69 euros a night). And every single one of them has a better breakfast than a fancy hotel like this in the US. There should be included breakfast at every hotel. This one at least had a breakfast counter with coffee, juice and a few items, but prices were high and it wasn't that great. Yogurt in a plastic cup. Please, you run a great hotel, but up the game on your breakfast. It makes all the difference for business travelers. Include it in the price, I don't want to go to your restaurant and order, I want a high quality buffet.

The room (1br/2ba suite) was clean and very spacious! We were on the 19th floor and had a perfect view of the city. It was my husbands birthday so the room was perfect for the occasion. The front desk clerk Renji (hope that's right) gave excellent customer service. Always spoke to us when we passed the front desk. I didn't get the name of the other young lady but she was very nice as well. Overall, we had an awesome experience.

No to be petty but could've used more towels but we called the front desk and got more right away. We didn't like the ticket process for the parking garage. Wasn't aware that the ticket had to be validated each night. That process should be explained at check-in. We saw the sign that said keep ticket with you, but it didn't specify any other details. Other than that everything else went well.

The first room we had for the first night was 80 degrees when we got there.. it was very uncomfortable. It didn't cool down til the next morning when we were leaving. The second room was nice & the temp was comfortable when we walked in. The only complaint we had was they kept only giving us one washcloth & there were two of us. They didn't leave any hand towels. My husband called & they said they'd bring some to our room.. but they never did. And the pillows were all completely flat.. no fluff in them at all. Nice place & friendly staff. They just need to make sure the rooms are at a comfortable temp when people are checking in. And give enough washcloths & hand towels. And maybe get some new pillows.

My room was on the same level as the pool. I had a great view of the patio deck from my window. The room was clean. I didn't require housekeeping but they cleaned everyday. I liked that it is pet friendly also. The staff was friendly. There was a refrigerator available in the room.

The long wait prior to check in. I had to drive around Houston for an hour or 2 waiting on my room to be ready, and I had my dog with me. The staff never called to inform me that the room was ready. I had to phone them. I also had to pay extra for parking on this date because they forgot to validate it/add it to my stay.

The young lady at the front counter Makayla was so helpful and always smiling. The night manager on duty Virginia went above and beyond. She took care of us the moment we walked thru the doors. Nothing but helpful and so sweet. Gracious is a better word.

For extended stays such as ours, the furniture is very uncomfortable. The bed was great.

Window sill was very dusty as was the side of the cabinet in the bathroom. I paid $20 for overnight parking but upon exiting the parking garage I had to pay another $28 to get out of the garage. The food was expensive and not very good. Hilton should have a nice sit down Restaurant instead of counter service for the price.

The rooms were really clean. The staff members were all extremely nice and friendly. The housekeeper did an excellent job in keeping up our room and we never had to request anything such as towels or trash pickup.

The room was very warm upon arrival. We had to call to have someone take a look. We left the room but it was cooler when we arrived back for the night.

I loved how spacious the rooms were & how easy it was to get to my vehicle on the parking deck.

I didn’t like the fact the one of the staff at the front desk didn’t give me specific directions on where to park, I ended up parking next door to a campus paying $10. let the lady know at the front desk & she told me she would refund it off my stay & she never did!

near rice university, close enough to the zoo and other activities but it’s a bit of a long walk. the pool area is very nice and hardly anyone uses it. best brand in the area for the price paid.

medical center area doesn’t have much to do, the rooms need updating, the walls are far from sound proof, there was a private event at the pool the first night I was there and it was not mentioned when I inquired about the pool that evening. another thing, one of the elevators was broken my entire stay so it took forever to get up or down the building which was extremely inconvenient but I’m assuming they have fixed it. y now.
