I liked that there was a garage to park our vehicle, it felt safer than leaving it outside. My kids loved the pool and gym.

I may have misunderstood, but I thought breakfast was included but when we went down the first morning, there were only fruit options and coffee. Everything else was to be ordered and it was quite expensive. We ended up eating breakfast elsewhere during our stay

WLAN was actually for free, speed was sufficient for me (no streaming). Proximity to Kroger's store was nice. Swimming pool and Jacuzzi were fantastic :-)

The room air conditioning was very loud. Reaching the hotel requires a 15min walk from Smith's landing. When I came home from the conference at night, this was inconvenient.

The location was nice because it was close to MD Anderson and there were several nice places to eat within a few blocks. Although, the restaurant suggestions given by staff were not good.

The ice machines on several floors were broken. I saw breakfast listed as an amenity thinking it was continental but was not. That was very disappointing

I didn't like receiving an email less than 24 hours before we arrived to let us know we could only park one vehicle on the property. Having been there now, I understand why, but as both HLSR volunteers and the parents of an exhibitor, it made it pretty inconvenient to find out at the last minute that we had to completely change our travel plans to only come down in one car. I think at least a few extra days' notice would have been reasonable, considering we were arriving at the tail end of the show and the hotel has always known this to be an issue.

We were in town for a family funeral. It was very convenient to the church and after funeral get together. The elevator was not working, but they let us know up front before we checked in and gave us some options and let us pick what we felt best with. The freight elevator is what they let everyone use, until the elevator was repaired. Bed was very comfortable.

The location is perfect for us because of it's proximity to Texas Orthopedic Hospital. The rooms are comfortable and I love that it has a refrigerator & microwave.

The only thing we did not like was the shower head. This is the 3rd time we have stayed there. The first time we had a handicap room that had a hand held shower head that was fine. The last two times the rain shower head in the regular rooms is horrible. It sprays to the sides and not in the middle of the tub where you need it.

we enjoyed our stay and our room but…

we encountered 3 ants on the bed within the sheets as well as a baby roach making its way towards the headboard- we called front desk, they asked to return downstairs to see if there was anything available- we stayed in our room 505 - we didn’t make it downstairs to change rooms it was after midnight by this time..

had to stand in line in the morning to buy coffee ... not acceptable. I dont mind paying for breakfast, but to wait in line to buy coffee in the morning. NOT.

Location and room size. Great desk staff.

I found a woman’s brown plastic headband next to our bed. I didn’t see it when we checked in it was on the side closer to the wall. I saw it the next morning. This tells me there is no way they vacuumed that carpet which makes me question how well they cleaned.

Customer service is always exceptional.. I had called your corporate reservation line the day before to ask for the medical rate..your customer service rep was very rude & wouldn’t give me any rate change..this was like the 5th time that i had gone for eye surgery…when i checked in..the young lady was able to help me without any hesitation
