Very clean room.
Had to wait at check in cause there was no staff. Note at check in said: “Be back in 30 minutes” We waited for a hour. There were 4 guest waiting by the time someone showed up. We believe it was the lady just coming to work because while we were checking in another lady came in and said: “I am so sorry” Something that corporate should look into as there was no one in registration area or anywhere else.

This hotel suited my needs perfectly. It was clean, comfortable & not old. There is a full sized refrigerator, microwave & stovetop burner which was great since I bring my own food when I travel. Because I have diet restrictions, it didn’t bother me that they don’t serve breakfast here.
There’s no pool here but I knew about that beforehand so I wasn’t surprised- just noting that fact that some people may not like that. Also I did hear some noise from the upstairs people at 3:00am.

The room was huge, with its on kitchenette! Very friendly staff as well. So close to everything which is a major plus. The perks the come with signing up made it so worth it. They even have a little shop at check in just in case you need food, dishes, razors, OTC medication! It truly was amazing. The beds were very very comfy, super pillow top and the biggest and softest pillows we've ever had.

One of the cleanest motels I have stayed in. Staff was very friendly and helpful without being overbearing. Not much for parking with a boat but staff was great at telling us which multiple spot we could park in. Numerous outside plugs in wouldn't work, so it was a challenge to park and plug in our boat. Will definitely stay at more My Places!!!

Location was good. It was another 3 hour drive to Mt Rushmore but was affordable vs the hotels in the area by Mt. Rushmore. Loved the mini kitchen with ice maker in the fridge.
The bedding looked like it still had hair on it. We covered that bedding with one of the bed sheets. The tv volume was at max and it sounded like it was at low. We just watched our phones.

entrance to hotel was poorly marked from street price was almost doubled from what we had paid the previous 2 hotel stays before arriving in Pierre, which included an evening kickback supper & hot breakfast @ Drury Hotels.

The room was large. Had a full kitchenette. The bathroom was spacious. Everything seemed to be newer. The bed was comfortable.
There were a few hairs in the bathtub, but overall the room was cleaner than most I’ve stayed in.

Location was great. Very accessible and near some good restaurants and gas stations. The beds were wonderful and we really loved the white fluffy comforter. We also appreciated the dog waste bags that were provided right near the access door.
There actually are not any complaints. This beautiful place is very accommodating. We have a family reunion every year on the river and this was the first year many of us stayed at My Place. None of us had any negative things to say about these rooms here.

When we checked in, the woman was very friendly and helpful. She gave my 6 year old grand-daughter a pen with a flower on top which she loved. The room was very clean, the bed comfortable.
No continental breakfast, and no pool, but I'm sure that's why the room rate was reasonable.

Coffee filter left in pot from last person that stayed. Was double charged for a single pot pie.
