The breakfast was terrible. Had to toss the muffin and the yogurt after only a few bites. The location was convenient and the parking lot safe for the bikes left on the car overnight. The Hampton meant expectations and that is always good.

Well, breakfast obviously. Surely there is a local supplier of muffins and other morning pastries that would be better than the tasteless prepackaged stuff? Also, don't remember the yogurt brand but it was remarkable unremarkable.... bland, blah.

The evening desk clerk, as well as the day shift desk clerk, were very kind and friendly. We got in after 9p, and were greeted with free, freshly baked cookies. The beds, with fluffy pillows and comforters, are extremely comfortable. The pool had a mushroom waterfall for the kids. The continental breakfast was great with hot options; a waffle making station with two different waffle batters and a variety of toppings; hot oatmeal; a variety of juices, coffee, and tea; several flavors of yogurts, with granola toppings; several cereal options; and boiled eggs.

There was some controversial signage in the front lobby. Not sure if it was supported by the hotel system or just the employees. I prefer a room without carpet. We thought we were going have a fridge in our room, so we brought some leftovers with us from dinner- but they went to waste because the room did not have a fridge. As a nurse, I appreciate the use of strong chlorine in the pool. However, I did not get in the pool, and my eyes were watering the entire time from the strength of the chlorine fumes. They ran out of hot cocoa, before 7am. Not something that ruined breakfast, but was still a little disappointing.

The breakfast was good with nice choices. The coffee was a great tasting coffee. The room was quiet except you could hear the kids in the room above running around so that wasn’t very quiet. But they settled down for when we decided to go to sleep so it was all good. The staff was nice and courteous.

This room did not have a microwave in it. That would have been nice since we have a special needs daughter that needed things warmed up.

The breakfast cereal was fine but the buffet food was mediocre & had to be thrown away. The breakfast staff person was very nice. Registration staff tried their best.

The registration computers were very slow. Staff was having trouble with them. No listing for nearby restaurants. Hotel just not up to par Breakfast buffet….terrible

I didn't realise breakfast was included until halfway through my stay but good selection when I did. Rooms were large, clean, modern and comfortable. Its close to Walmart and a short walk to the Mall where you can do some shopping and go to movies

It was a fair way out of town, difficult if you haven't got transport.

The time we were at your Hampton in late October I said in the survey that the breakfast was poor. The food was over cooked, dry like cardboard. This last week the breakfast had improved. The sausages and omelette s were tender and tasty. I am originally from ND, and I grew up with well cooked and sometimes overcooked food. It is tasteless, hard to cut ( like a steak). A little under cooked is almost better. Thank you for allowing me to rant. Just trying to help. I am 71 and cooking is a great joy for me.

Our room was clean and comfortable--no complaints about the room.

The breakfast was poor. There was NO food left midway through the serving time. We had to go to a fast food place to get breakfast, and that was the main reason we chose this hotel! Disappointing. The bed was comfortable, but the pillows were terrible.

Tidy, clean

Despite our 3rd party payment, we were charged $15 just in case...which was canceled but we were told in calling that we would have to check with our bank to make sure it was returned to the account. We were not told about this at checkin, where we specifically asked what the total was. We were told that she didn't know as the 3rd party would bill us. It's the hassle that we object to, not being told up front... and the default falling back to us.

Comfortable room with a convenient location. We didn’t use the pool, but it looked neat for kids! We appreciated the cookies at check-in. The hibachi and sushi restaurant nearby had excellent food!

The elevators were broken, which was inconvenient for our 4th-floor room, but I know those things happen sometimes. Wish there would have been a mini fridge in the room.

The check in person did a great job under stressful circumstances.

The COVID policies in practice did not match the COVID policies we were given. Emails from Hampton Inn said masks were required for all guests and team members in public places. Unfortunately, no masks were in evidence and the breakfast buffet was business as usual. In other words, the COVID protection measures given to us prior to our stay DID NOT MATCH the actual procedures at the property.
