Sonesta Select Las Vegas Summerlin

I liked the decor. And our room was very clean.

The bathroom light switch in Room 206 kept shorting out, so we had to turn on the main room light or use cell phone light to go to bathroom in the middle of the night. I knew this was a wiring problem and not something that a handyman could easily fix so didn't call for repair. Also, the toilet handle kept sticking so you had to jiggle it so the toilet didn't continuously run. There was no A/C in the elevator, which would normally not be a problem. But since it was 115 degrees F. when we arrived in Vegas, the elevator was like a prison camp "hot box". We prayed the elevator didn't get stuck or we would have expired within a few minutes, lol.

Easy off the highway, plus it was at the North end of Las Vegas. In the direction we were going, it was easy to continue on our journey up highway 95.

The lobby was way too dark, could hardly see. Plus I booked in which it said it came with a balcony and we did not have a balcony. However that was fine because it was way too hot to even sit on a balcony in Las Vegas. Overall it was a great hotel and location.

The location was ideal and I enjoyed having a full kitchen as well.

The staff pushed my husband and then me to book some type of time share meeting for the next morning. I was tired after traveling all day and dropping my step son off for his first year of college. I told the staff that I needed to go to my room and rest and then discuss it further. The staff kept on putting pressure that we had to book now or all appointments would be gone the next morning. I came to relax, not sit through some high pressure sales meeting!!!

the property was far away from chaos which allowed us to have easier access to food and things we needed during our stay. the staff was nice and helpful. the rooms were clean and the pool was great!

they didn’t have a teleporting machine that allowed you to just appear to your room from the seat of your car which was a bummer but oh well.

Liked good seperate sitting area; fridge & micro; pool & jacuzzi tub; TV premium channels.

No breakfast; no pool area towels; some run-down parts of the complex; the bed was a little uncomfortable.

The staff was always so kind and helpful. The pool area was spacious and clean. Our room was a good size and sound-proof.

The gym was super hot once you started working out. We didn't have a way to bring down the temperature. Also, our bathtub did not drain well and we failed to tell the front desk. FYI- room 342. I am sure if I did tell them, they would have fixed it.

We asked for a roll away bed and it was quickly brought to our room. Air conditioning in the room was great. Size of the room was great. The lobby was nice and modern.

Only one mirror in the room. Pool was supposed to close at 10pm however people were swimming and loud until almost 11pm.

Location is quiet and close to food, shopping and highways, parking is close and convenient, the staff friendly and helpful.

I was there due to a death in the family so I found the location very peaceful. The property is not near the activity of the strip or downtown Vegas.

We overindulged in the Las Vegas hospitality the night of our stay, and one of our party was extremely hungover the next morning. I mean, to the point where they said they would pay any amount of money not to move from the bed by checkout time. The kind young woman at the front desk gave us a later checkout which gave one of us time to find a drugstore and load up on supplies. "It's Las Vegas," said the woman at the front desk. We very much appreciated the kindness, even though we brought the situation on ourselves.

My only quibble with the room is that the fridge/microwave/coffeemaker are positioned directly next to the ice cold AC unit.

Poor. Really missed not having breakfast on site. Also no hot water or tea bags in the lounge. Room was good and the shower was good.

Add drink options, hot chocolate, hot tea to your coffee bar. The mattress was too soft. The temperture was great, very comfortable. The elevator ride was very warm, no air condition.
