It started with the valet: nice, friendly, quick to help. Then the front desk staff made us feel like we were old friends. The property itself is top notch with a smart, modern but comfortable feel. The rooms were quiet, clean, and well appointed. The bed was comfortable, the bathroom spacious (we had a corner suite). There were USB ports everywhere. You also can’t beat the location: Old Market one way, CHI Center, Schwab Field and the Holland Center the other way. It’s all walkable. It’s also right across the street from the newly redesigned and fabulous Gene Leahy Mall.

The people that work there truly wanted to make sure you have everything you need. The went over the top to make sure we were as comfortable as possible and were very helpful with recommendations for restaurants and entertainment. We would come back to Omaha just to stay here.

Prices in the restaurant and lounge could be more competitive with off-site options. They would probably make more money through higher traffic.

The rooms are big, comfy and modern. The only hotel out of 4 I have stayed at in Omaha of this quality. I wish I could have stayed longer. Unfortunately the price tag meant I had to move for the rest of my trip

I believed having booked 6 months ago that the rate was much lower than I was charged. I wish too that there was a shuttle bus.

The hotel is beautiful and smells great (funny I know, but wait until you walk into the lobby!). Staff super friendly. Our valet guy, Derek, really stood out for us - he was fantastic! Very enthusiastic to help and gave us a great recommendation for eating dinner in the city. The room was gorgeous and clean. Shower amazing. Bed super comfy. Highly recommend!

The only thing I didn't like was the pillow, but I'm partial to memory foam so I don't get headaches. Not the hotel's fault.

This is definitely the place to book for your special occasion! Beautiful, clean, upscale hotel with staff that go above and beyond to ensure you'll enjoy your stay. Also it's just steps from Old Market and minutes from the zoo. Everything was easy and convenient. Valet parking was great. Dynamite restaurant was also beautiful, romantic and most importantly, delicious! Thank you so much for making our stay special and we can't wait to come back again!

To be honest I can't think of anything that I didn't like!

Stunning hotel. Beautiful and spacious room. Unbelievable shower and bed. Loved the ambiance and decor. Beds were very comfortable and soft sheets. Spectacular view from our room. Catalyst bar was the prefect place for a before dinner drink. It has a wonderful vibe and atmosphere. The Dynamite restaurant had delicious food, attentive service, and decor was amazing We will definitely be back!

Having a shuttle for transportation to and from the hotel

We went for our 10 year wedding anniversary and from the moment we arrived we had the best service we could have asked for. The whole staff made us feel so special for our anniversary. The location, cleanliness, amenities and staff was excellent. I would recommend The Farnam to anyone. We will definitely be staying there again!! Thank you for making our special day Amazing!

We reserved a room with a king. When we got there and checked in they didn’t have any rooms with a king left so we had 2 queens! The manager (I believe Sam was his name) went above and beyond and discounted our room, gave us some vouchers for the hotel bar and valeted our parking! It was great PR and we were impressed! We’ll def stay again! Thank you!

fantastic concept - translating old grand hotels to a modern take EVERY Thing was fabulous Room, staff, hotel restaurants, valet, location Bon Voy has moved hotel stays to the 21st Century. Loved Omaha also! the only thing that would have made this better would be to meet Warren Buffet for dinner

The hotel itself was new and beautiful -- I'm in real estate/construction, and the lobby, hallway and room finishes were beautiful, really well done. Kudos to the design team (except for the rain shower head - pet peeve - why are people still putting these in??). Modern finishes, but warm feel, very welcoming. Location perfect, right on edge of Old Town. Large city park across the street currently under construction through 2021, will be a nice attribute for the hotel once it's done. Walkable to River and Kerrey pedestrian bridge, safe for long runs along the River on Council Bluffs side.

The hotel had recently opened, and the Senior Open was in town, so given short staffing, the rooms were not ready, the lobby was crazy busy and we had to wait for our room even though it was late afternoon. Luckily we headed out for early dinner with friends and room was ready (finally) shortly after we got back. Front desk staff was frazzled but friendly. Would have been a nice gesture to offer us an upgrade or even comp glass of champagne for the inconvenience - but surprisingly they didn't.
