Jennifer was very kind and helpful. We requested a very quiet room as we are on a 12week road trip from LA to Boston. Our room was lovely.The beds, pillows, bedding were wonderful And so was the bathtub for lovely hot bubblebath. Even robes were supplied. A good breakfast fresh and very clean area
Sadly, for us, we like a dark room to sleep in. The new drapes in our room were to small and did not fit the windows, so light came in on alm sides. Also there was a pinkish neon light on outside window that reflected onto the large mirror and added more light. Also we had the Sunrise.This may not be an issue for anyone else. BUT it is still a lovely Inn.

Love the many improvements Jennifer and her husband have made since taking over this property. Have been staying here since it was originally built and through the many ownership changes. It has always been a convenient and easily accessible location and remains so to this day. We were lucky to learn that it was under new ownership and see the changes as we were looking for boutique hotels or BNBs in the area. We were intrigued by the new name, colorful, eye catching changes to the exterior and pictures of the rooms. We were excited to see the new continental breakfast and extended lobby space. The room was very welcoming, with modern decorating throughout . The new a/c units were very quiet and comfortable. The restyled shower area with new fixtures and great lighting worked out very good! All in all, great experience and value with a clean and relaxing environment.
Nothing comes to mind, but I would also like to mention that the breakfast was far above what you might find at places that are twice the price.

Everything was fantastic! This motel is a diamond in the rough. The gentleman who checked us in (the owner I believe) was so nice and truly cared that we had a good stay. They are in the process of renovations and the room we stayed in was so clean and comfy. There were some great little touches such as the retro refrigerator and microwave, the steam free mirror, the huge TV, and a bathrobe. The beds were comfy and we slept really well. The towels were thick and soft, and we appreciated the body wash, shampoo, and conditioner in the beautifully tiled shower. The price is very affordable and their pet fee was reasonable. We will definitely stay here whenever we drive from Indiana to Denver when visiting our son.

This is as probably one of my best motel experiences We have ever had EVER, she took pride in all the room touches, from the cleanliness of the room and the room decor and lighting, super comfy beds, this is definitely a hidden gem! Got to chat with the owner several times and you won’t have a better stay. Had to rearrange our stay and that went flawless and do a late checkout with no problems at all! We will definitely be back soon! You won’t be disappointed.

the rooms were nicely set up, definitely a different experience than I’ve ever had, but it was a good experience , owner was very friendly & seemed to care about the customers experience!!! I highly recommend it!!! Will stay again if given the chance
it seem like the heating unit in room was struggling to heat up room?? Ran all night on auto, at 80 degrees and didn’t get very warm on a 37 degrees night, the motel was still being renovated at the time , but didn’t effect my stay in the room

We were travelling from Canada and had to travel through a very severe winter storm area. We had to change our arrival date twice and still weren't sure if we would make our check-in date. Jenifer the owner/manager was very flexible with whatever date we would arrive on. No penalty or hassles. The breakfast was a continental breakfast and all of the food choices were very fresh and tasty. The eating area was exceptionally clean. Everything looked new. Nicely redecorated room. Will definitely stay again if travelling through Hastings.

The location, price , and amenities. Very nicely decorated in the room.
The room was freezing and took a good two hours to warm up. There was snow up to the door of the room with nothing to remove it except my foot. There was no hairdryer or iron or board in the room. I had to go get a hairdryer and just didn’t bother for an iron/board. Once renovations are completed, it’ll be better and we’d probably stay again but not in the winter or at least request an inside room.

Staff was very friendly. Fixed the issue I had with the bathroom light immediately. Room had lots of space. TV was bigger than most other hotels I've stayed in. Breakfast was the usual breakfast. Room was clean.
Bathroom was very small. Can tell the remodeling was done very quickly because there were a lot of seals not caulked, paint along base boards was not cleaned up, etc. They started working on rooms below me at 8am on a Saturday, which was bothersome.

Newly remodeled room, bed was very comfortable, all fixtures were new and worked great. Arthur was a great host, very accommodating, very responsive to questions and requests. Wonderful five day stay.
The air con unit had a vibration, but we didn’t need any cooling most of the time. Arthur said he would take care of the vibration.
