This is a great stay. Friendly at the desk, comfortable room, clean room, shower, beds, house keeping does a great job, and are friendly. This is a place you want to stay. The pool area is clean, and is warm, kids will love it. All around good place. I know when you start looking for a place to stay to see if you should stay here it's tough to decide, because you read and some places say they are good, well I'm not leading you astray. Stay HERE!!

We couldn't stay longer. It was just a stop over place for us on the way to Wyoming.

We always like the location of the hotel while we are at Fonner Park. The hotel is clean, breakfast is good, and it economical.

I made a reservation for 2 rooms, included both names for check in and when my mom checked in-they were all confused, didn’t have my reservation for her they said (even tho I got texts that morning with her name), then cancelled my reservation and gave her my room and it was a cluster checking in, which were doing late at night.

I received a text when my room was ready. Staff was friendly and helpful upon arrival. Very clean hotel. Continental breakfast hours were very fitting 5am-10am. The lady doing the continental breakfast was replacing items all the time and cleaning up and there were lots of items to choose from. I went to the front desk to ask for another ice bag and told them I was using it for an ice pack and they offered me ziploc bags which worked a lot better! I will definitely stay here the next time I am in Grand Island.

The staff members were really nice. Breakfast was good. It was clean. The indoor pool is actually heated. The room was decorated nicely. It was definitely worth the price we paid.

There aren't any elevators but it's only two floors. It was difficult to carry all our belongings upstairs. The water in the shower would go from one extreme temperature to another. I had a perfect water temperature and then it would suddenly turn freezing cold or scorching hot.

Staff was friendly and accommodating. The facility was clean; rooms smelled fresh and the AC was on for us to return from a 90 degree day. The breakfast was adequate and they have a pancake making machine which is always nice. Plenty of biscuits and gravy; both hot and cold cereals, coffee, tea and juices. Fresh fruit was also available. The room was quiet, despite the fact that the motel was full. There was no road noise. The price was quite reasonable compared to others in the area.

Not a complaint at all!!

Loved the pool. Double bed corner room suite was awesome. Nice big room with a pull out couch.

The check in staff weren't overly friendly. I very much dislike people who.act like doing their job is an inconvenience. Put a smile on your face and act like you are seeing your best friend. I absolutely stop going places because of bad customer service. I will give this hotel another try if I need to stay in GI again, but one more bout of bad customer service and I won't go back. Please tell staff to smile and be friendly. It goes a long way.

Breakfast was typical, white flour/sugar items. I have learned to travel with plain oatmeal packets to cut the sugar from the overly sweet oat packets. Room was quiet and cool (over 90 degree days!).

Design issue: bathroom very tight squeeze. Can't close door without hitting legs if on toilet. Sink area too small to put much next to sink. A towel hook next to sink would be nice, perhaps small shelves around mirror to hold toiletries. Some small tweaks to mitigate the poor design would be great.

I would say this Super 8 is a great place to stay, especially for the money. The room was really nice, clean and comfortable. Staff is really helpful and nice. Breakfast was good. The indoor pool is in the middle of the hotel and doors to rooms face the pool. I thought it was nice. There are tables upstairs and downstairs right around the pool. I saw a group hanging out playing games, which I thought the space was great for. There are snack and beverages machines.

Not that it can be changed, but just a heads up. If you worry about hearing traffic, ask for a room away from the road. AS with other hotels, when travelers aren't thinking about not slamming their door, you can definitely hear that.

Our stay was very short we were traveling home from Wyoming to Illinois. Didn't arrive until close to 9pm and left before 9am but my son got some time to burn off some travel energy in the super nice pool. Which is fun in the center of everything! Room was clean and nice! Well definitely stay again on our next trip to visit our family in Wyoming!

The desk clerk was friendly. There were free cookies and lemonade available in the lobby when we arrived at about 9:00 p.m. It was a clean, modern, updated room with Direct-TV. The air conditioner was much quieter than most motel rooms. It had great pillows. The bed was pretty comfortable. Not like ours at home, but good enough for me to stay in bed late. Ha! We didn't eat breakfast, but my husband went for coffee. He said the pancake maker looked cool. He said it was a little crowded, but there was room in the pool area to sit and eat.

Our room was on the street end. I think there were just two or three rooms at that end. There were loud racing cars outside, but I know the motel can't control that. The carpeted stairs to the 2nd floor were in need of vacuuming, but we didn't get there until around 9:00 at night. Everything else was very clean.
