Liked the price and the ease of breakfast.
Could’ve had a cleaner look and maybe some updates could be useful to make it look cleaner. Our room was directly behind the hallway door so we could hear that opening and closing but two small things that didn’t make our stay unbearable. Nothing to complain about.

I liked the big parking lot, my room was the perfect size n everything for just one person also.
The fact that the side door didn’t have a lock after a certain time or just key entry at night.

It was quiet had a good time visiting with others in our group.
Road construction limited it to a one-way in and out, no secondary exiting. Scrambled eggs were over cooked and crumbly, biscuits were hard and dry, no bacon or sausage. The room rates were doubled compared to the rates I had over Memorial weekend.

We were pleasantly surprised at how quiet the room was - absolutely no traffic noise!
The floor needed to be vacuumed better. There were several small pieces of paper/garbage around the base of the bed. The house phone didn't work when I attempted to call the front desk.

Reservation staff was helping us getting our reservation at short notice. Staff assisted us in dealing with Booking.com which had accepted our booking online. Lesson learned- we will never book at Booking.com but directly book at the hotel. Thank you Days Inn front desk for this advice

We didn’t eat breakfast, the front desk staff were super helpful, but the overall feel of the hallway and room was tired (old). The entry way was very welcoming, all staff very helpful but it just feels as if there is some more updating needed.
More upgrading to the hallway and in the room.

we asked for a late checkout as we were running in the Grand Island Half marathon and wanted time to shower before we headed home. The desk person said there was no late check out. very disappointed in that. we runs half marathons almost monthly. This may determine where we book for our next one.

The hallway seemed outdated and uninviting, and there was a damaged door to go through to get to rest of hall-perhaps a firedoor?

Desk clerk was VERY friendly and helpful. Booking.com failed to transmit our reservation properly, but he took care of the situation perfectly. Bed and pillows were very comfortable. Towels good. Breakfast kind of OK. Didn't expect much.
Bathroom paint was peeling. The place is definitely shabby, but well run and staffed and comfortable.

The bed was extremely firm and not to my liking. I would bring my mattress topper for more comfort.
