Holiday Inn Louisville Airport - Fair/Expo, an IHG Hotel

We were shuttled to and from the Fair/Expo Center which was very helpful so we did not have to pay for parking or find a parking space. All of the staff at the hotel were extremely nice and accommodating.

It would be nice to have other breakfast options near by or a free continental breakfast instead of an expensive buffet. we don’t eat a large breakfast so it wouldn’t be worth us buying. I had to drive through that terrible traffic on 264 to go get breakfast.

the best place to stay in Louisville. you can’t beat the price most times unless it’s peak times…but the staff is absolutely THE best part of this hotel. i stay here a lot for work. they are always accommodating and friendly. I tell everyone about this place. They accommodated us well this night when we had a group of people. Candise who works the front desk has the best personality and I am glad when I see a familiar face when I check in! she truly deserves a raise!

check in was lengthy, one of our rooms was not read when we got there which was after check in time but Candise, who is ALWAYS the best at what she does, got it taken care of for me right away. After that it was a breeze and off we went.

At first when my wife came back from checking us out and showed me the receipt for 2 days as $713.00 and said shouldn't we have gotten some sort of group rate. I went to ask if a mistake was made and our bill was readjusted to to a ridiculous $360.00, but better than what it was. We were in town for the Combat Veterans Motorcycle Association National Convention.

The restaurant wasn't very good at all.

the manager (short curly hair) told me she added my reward member number to my stay & emailed me a receipt but she did neither. she also acted like it was a problem to add my reward # because I booked through a 3rd party.

The staff was very friendly, the room was clean enough

I am on a 14 day vacation - Holiday Inn is the most expensive hotel on this trip. I picked Holiday Inn NOT EXPRESS for a reason. The pool was still closed, the restaurant was still closed - the gym was closed and the property outside was dirty with garbage and cigarettes' butts. At 150+ a night! Wont be back! There is no reason April 17th 2021- The restaurant and pool is still FULLY CLOSED. Oh and the smoke alarm in room 229 completely gone and bare wires exposed. Refrigerator froze all liquids and could not turn down. We tried.

we had a refrigerator that did not work. they did not replace it. they wanted us to move rooms. we had already unpacked after traveling 4 days. I did not want to repack. I requested a discount. there was none.

The location, room and front desk staff was very nice. Check in was quick and easy.

There was a used wash cloth in my shower hanging up. I thought that was gross. Also, when I went to pick up my breakfast a worker approached me aggressively saying that I needed to pay for the food when it was included in the price I paid for my stay, which was CLEARLY printed on my breakfast request card. She made it seem as if I was stealing. I DID NOT appreciate that at all!!

location! can walk to expo center and even to Churchill Downs as well as a few restaurants

would be good to have some type of food for off hours. lots of hotels now have a freezer case of microwaveable foods.

first room had a really uncomfortable bed but they resolved the issue quickly and moved us into a nicer room. wish the pool had a hot tub.

I believe her name was Melanie absolutely loved her hospitality the best I have ever received in any Holiday Inn of ever stayed
