We booked thru a third party thinking we were getting a discount and actually overpaid via booking.com by $30. Booking.com also did not communicate with Holiday Inn about our reservations and were not in the system when we arrived to check in. This was on a Nascar race weekend and KC Chiefs home game weekend in Kansas City. Everything was booked and we had to go up for surgery. Luckily the staff was beyond amazing and worked their magic figuring everything out and were able to get us a room. Because of the staff, I will always go with this hotel for now on!

Everything was great.

We didn't have to pay until we checked-in, free wifi, free cable TV, free breakfast, indoor pool, comfortable bed, free coffee, trash was emptied when housekeeping was asked and fresh towels were offered.

When we walked into the room, we noticed a piece of trash on the floor, regular tea was not provided in the room (only green tea), the shampoo and lotion provided was stinky, trash was not emptied until we asked, there was not a breakfast buffet.

The Holiday Inn Hotel and Suites Overland Park was easy to get to and had plenty of parking with the underground garage. DeMarcus was very friendly and welcoming at the front desk. Check-in was easy. The room was very clean and quiet. The beds were comfortable and the linens were soft. We did not eat breakfast or use the pool but both areas were clean and well maintained. The property was convenient to the highway and shopping. Overall, a great stay!

disappointed with breakfast. We prefer no meat which eliminated the bacon, sausage, scrambled eggs with ham and the gravy with sausage for the biscuits. my grandson wanted waffles so I paid $8 in addition to the initial $20 for the two of us and the waffles were terrible. very dry and crumbly. They looked nice with fresh fruit on top but they were awful. I tasted them because I thought my grandson was exaggerating. He was not!

Very clean, beds were comfortable. Staff was very good. Especially Kassi at the front desk who changed our reservation.

Although newly renovated, it like most hotels, doesn't have enough light to be able to put on makeup and fix your hair.

It had a great location. It is right off of the highway and very easy to access. The staff was awesome and very friendly and made us feel very welcome. We will definitely be staying here again. Can't wait for our next trip!!

The breakfast was expensive and not anything special for the price. The bartender was overworked as he had to be the cook for our dinner too.

It would have been nice if there was a sign reminding us about our breakfast tickets or if the waiter had explained how to pay or if we had tickets from our stay we could use them, there was no communication when we ate breakfast and it was a little confusing I could tell everyone around us was confused as well but the front desk employee was the best and so kind!!

The staff is very nice and will help you with anything. The rooms are excellent and the place is very quiet. That’s the reason I keep coming back to the same place! Never ever I had a bad experience with them! Just needed some me time and this place hit all my expectations. You will have a client for life!

Breakfast was fantastic and Rosa, our waitress, was amazing. The evening bartender/cook/waiter also gave us exceptional service for two in hotel dinners for our group of 12. And, Rachel at the front desk was very helpful and accomodating to make our stay more special. Excellent staff, very friendly and helpful.
